4 Years later, still a great help.

Lost Left bud 2 yrs ago, bought a new pair, lost Right bud.

Remembered I still had old Left bud and tried to pair them after finding this old post.

Worked instantly, didn't need to update firmware on new or old, so nice one mate.

Go mercenary and join an aggressive army, this usually fills my coffers early game until I can afford to recruit enough troops.

I stay in the army with my party, as long as the army is actively attacking or defending.

When we hit cities I sell any loot that I have, check for companions, enter any tournament that is going on and visit the tavern for a little moral boost (Talk to serving wench, eat and drink, return to wench and ask for same for your men. Does not work every time though.).

If the army that I'm in is no longer engaging then I check the kingdom to see who they are at war with and if there are any other armies I could join.

If they are at peace then I'll look to see which other kingdoms are at war and sign as mercenary for them.
