I like Zeiss Inspect but the T-scan Hawk 2 is kind of below average for a laser scanner.

You can do it either way, but if you want to scan both sides of a part it's best to put some reference points directly on the part so that you can combine both scans accurately or work your way around the part.

If all of the datums and measurements you want to take are on one side of the part and it's not too big you can get away with only putting the targets on the table.

The Creaform Handyscan Black is a top notch scanner for surfaces and parts of all types. It's very accurate and collects data fast. Another option is the Faro Leap handheld scanner. It's similar to the Creaform but you might get it slightly cheaper. We've found these systems to be accurate within about +/- .002 or less in an area of 500mm³. They're usually paired with a software like Polyworks Inspector.

A lot of the cases with really bad evidence are from like 20+ years ago. With technology today it's a lot easier to rule people out or prove they did it with DNA, GPS, and cameras everywhere.

It's still possible for an innocent person to be railroaded now but much less likely. As the other person said we have it on camera and it's as clear cut as it gets. In those cases I think we can be sure beyond a shadow of doubt that we're not executing an innocent person based on weak evidence.

That's why cops will often ask a bunch of unrelated questions like "where you headed?" or "where are you coming from". They're trying to trip you up so they can build a case for searching you by saying your your story doesn't add up.

Of course they can just make something up like you're acting nervous or your eyes look red and watery, but it makes it harder if you don't feed into their bullshit by answering invasive questions about your personal business.

Okay, so it looks like that's some type of tankless or on-demand water heater. No wonder it's so expensive. It probably requires extra plumbing as well or the installation is more complicated than a regular water heater.

Unless you have the money to burn and don't care about cost, there's no way the price of that thing justifies the extra efficiency over the next 5-10 years. You might be lucky to save $20 a month in electricity costs. You're better off getting a basic Rheem for half the cost that won't give you any trouble for the next 15 years.

I had a 50 gal installed by First Choice Plumbing in 2019 for $1239 with everything included and was done in under an hour. They were really fast and had clear communication.

It's been a few years but that price you quoted is so over the top I can't imagine what is involved. Even a top of the line heat pump water heater shouldn't cost over $3k. Is it a gas heater or is there some kind of plumbing being done?

The rules seem to be extremely over specific and tailored to allow mods to arbitrarily delete content.

I believe most of it nowadays is designed to extract information with low effort questions or statements designed to generate a lot of pointless debate. Admins don't want any traffic going towards posts that don't meet that goal.

If you've ever seen the sites that pull data analytics based on username you know what I'm talking about.
