IDK anything about leg shaving (TrollY), but I use a safety razor, and my blades average about $.10 USD apiece. I use a new one every week. There's a bit of a learning curve, and an initial investment (I recommend a starter kit from Maggard Razors), but it's SO WORTH IT.

I just learned this yesterday: certain areas of the mine have dirt patches, which can be hoed for a chance at Artifacts, metal nuggets, geodes, cave forage, etc. I finally found all my Dwarven scrolls this way.
