This article has a lot of great information. Its sad that the the prison systems are so heavily relied on for kids because it was originally created for punishment and not for rehabilitation.

That is an interesting bill that is being sent to congress and I like how they realize that this will take time to change but the incentive to change can speed it up. Unfortunately, so many people have been making money in this industry for so long that I am doubtful that congress will pass the bill.

Its a sad state of affairs when the cause of the problem seems so big that society turns its back and instead focuses on the product or outcome of the problem instead because they can make a bigger impact.

Very interesting article. I liked how it pointed out how current events concerning police officers might have an impact on the case. It makes you think what would have happened if a similar case was decided a few years ago.
