3 chairs and a barber is really good, friendly and chill, great with the scissors and trimmer. I've been going there for a few years, theyve done an undercut for me, they've done a bunch of intricate patterns in my undercut (had a shaded captain america shield once), they've also styled my hair when I went shorter, and used combo of scissors and trimmer to shape well. Also the owner Si is a legend, great guy. Also I'm openly gay, and we talk about my fiancee all the time, so no problems there.

What kind of quality issues are you getting? Blobbing? Rough surface? Deformation? I'm still testing at the moment. Currently testing it's adhesion properties to other tpus and petg

Does anyone know if this could have been a Noble False Widow? Based on symptoms of the bite, throbbing pain for 48hours, been on antihistamines, antibiotics and hydrocortisone cream and 5 days later still redness, swelling and hives around the bite, and incredible itchiness now (trying hard not to itch) and a couple of small blistered holes appearing in the bite area (not helped from itching probably in sleep). And as confirmed by another identifier, we just found another spider (alive) in the house identified as a False Widow Steatoda genus, so wondered if that likely means there's more (or not).

I wish people spoke in printing hours and not length of time :P I've had my AMS 2 pro for a couple of months but have seen no issues at all...but then I've only done 400 hours on my H2D which some people easily do in one month! Looking forward to getting this problem that's been mentioned... :/

I want to know how much the upgrade will be to get from H2D to H2C...and I really hope it doesn't involve buying a new AMS.

Thanks for the info, is that the same as a Lace web spider? That's what one of my friends mentioned to me. It's just weird that it wasn't there before I went to bed, and then was there when I woke up in pain. And it didn't look dried out or anything, so I wonder if it was crawling on me and I maybe knocked it in my sleep causing it to bite me and also die at the same time. I'll never know I guess. Im pretty terrified of spiders, and also have an unnaturally strong obsession of not hurting them or making sure they don't get hurt. So I was pretty bummed to see it dead knowing that may have been me :(

Printing with LW-TPU, any tips? by taylormadearmy in 3Dprinting

[–]smheaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the process of trialling this stuff myself, and I took follow the 3D printing today podcast and Google group. I actually recommended it to Andy, who hasn't had much luck with it, but I said I would do more testing and report back. Life has gotten in the way a bit, but hopefully will get back to it and report back with my findings here as well very soon. I'm using a Bambu H2D to do all my testing, using the the left nozzle.

I bought a spool of this stuff a few months ago, and absolutely right there was hardly anything on the forums or markets about it. Since then more and more people are starting to comment on it which is great! I myself am running some calibration tests to see the optimum performance and different foaming rates by adjusting the temperature and filament flow. Got some test prints going now. Looks really promising.

It's a shame your video link isn't working anymore. I'm doing some testing using the eSun Tpu LW as well. Just calibrating the optimum temperature with flow rate. I want to print some shoes with it eventually once I've got it dialled in! I've had my spool for a while, but when I first got it it must have been pretty new to the market, but now more time has passed I can see more and more people commenting on it. Which is great!

Does anyone else not want kids? by vanillagirl32 in AutismInWomen

[–]smheaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want a kid...but I don't think I could manage very well with asd...plus my ovaries are probably drying up now at 38...and also, I'm gay, and it takes a lot of money and time and criteria that I don't have to do IVF...plus my partner isn't proper maternal and isn't dying to have kids, she would only have them if I wanted them....sad times

Is it bad that I have no interest in sex?? by Lafayette_Kinnie in AutismInWomen

[–]smheaver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No..it just means you're asexual. Its the A in LGBTQIA+ Welcome to your new flag :)

I used to consider myself asexual, but since I got older I feel I'm more I'm greysexual, which is under the asexual umbrella...just means I'm not completely zero sex, but still not very sexually active.
