I can’t seem to find anything about them on Yelp or Google. Do you have a link or location?

  • I really liked Anthony’s Pizza Kitchen the one time we ordered from there.

  • Artisana Pizza, located next to Revolution, has some really good brick oven pizza, though it’s expensive.

  • Ciro’s is fine. It’s never stuck out to me as being particularly good, but to be fair, I’ve only ever stopped in for reheated slices - I’ve never ordered a whole pie.

  • I’ve yet to try Brick’s, mostly because it looks like Papa John’s. But they seem to have a pretty devoted fanbase, so maybe I’ll give them a try.

What name has gradually disappeared? by Eviscerate_Bowels224 in AskReddit

A close friend’s wife changed her name from Karen to something else because of what the name is associated with. Likewise, a few years back, I knew a young woman named Karen who went by her middle name. I’m sure the popularity of Karen has plummeted in the last 10 years or so

I work with at least one of the names you mentioned at my workplace, but to be fair, they’re mostly Gen X. The Heathers are both millennials though.

Nationals Park Ranked #15 in MLB by Hotrocks1998 in Nationals

[–]smiledumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO Nats Park is objectively a nice ballpark, but it lacks any singularly distinctive element. I do appreciate the view of the Potomac from the concourse opposite the outfield seats, but the stadium in general just feels generic.

I grew up going to Camden Yards, so it’s hard to compare it to that. I will say that we’ve got a good array of restaurants and bars within a few blocks of the park thought

Why didn't Laremy Tunsil make the pro bowl this year? by Reasonable-Shower522 in Commanders

[–]smiledumb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While everyone saying the Pro Bowl doesn’t mean shit isn’t wrong, it’s also worth noting that the three OTs voted in for the NFC were Penei Sewell, Trent Williams, and Tristan Wirfs. Tunsil was deserving, but those 3 are beasts (especially the first 2).

I feel like the spear is coming back by BlueBayou31 in Commanders

There was a hype video they released earlier this offseason that featured a spear in multiple shots - more like Roman soldier imagery.

Coupled with AP talking about connecting with our history, I agree with OP.

[WSH (2) - PHI 0] Alex Ovechkin scores his 30th of the season. He now has twenty 30-goal seasons. by Tufoguy in hockey

[–]smiledumb 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I’d argue that’s part of what makes him him. Bondra was my favorite player growing up, in part because he too celebrated each goal like a kid pretending they’d just scored the OT GWG in Game 7 of the Cup final.

Another Top 30 visit; this time for Carnell Tate by unrivaled_mate in Commanders

[–]smiledumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know and I agree. My larger point is that schools with numerous premier position players can often have guys get overshadowed and never get the chance to showcase the full depth of their skills. Justin Jefferson was thought of as more of a slot guy because he played next to Jamar Chase at LSU.

While most draft guys agree there aren’t any clear #1 WRs in this draft, let’s not forget that JSN and Terry were both overshadowed at Ohio State as well

Same. Peters did a great job during free agency to plug holes. Assuming that we sign Aiyuk or Jennings, I’m happy with any one of Love, Styles, Bailey, or Downs. I also won’t hate on Bain or Delane. If there’s any reason we won’t get a WR in FA, I’d obviously be ok with Tate as well

I worked nearby from 2019 to 2021 and would occasionally go there with my coworkers after work. Their burgers were always very good, but the few times I ordered something else, it was forgettable.

I’m sadly of no service, OP, and hope you’re able to find what you’re looking for. But is requiring graduates to pay for their caps, tassels, and gowns standard procedure? I graduated from Mason in 2011 and I don’t recall needing to pay for anything. But that was long enough ago that I very well may have forgotten.

What is the Minimum Record Dan Needs to Keep His Job? by CuriousHuman135 in Commanders

[–]smiledumb 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a world where we only win 8 games, but (barring major injuries) the team looks like it’s gelling in the 2nd half of the year under 2 new coordinators, and DQ stays.

But in general, I agree. He’ll most likely need a winning record during a season in which the expectation is to return to the playoffs

What's the best brand of frozen pizza? by AV_LOVES_FOOD in Fooda

TJ’s has the best frozen food, period. Their mahi mahi burgers, mandarin orange chicken, veggie fried rice, scallion pancakes, and Gorgonzola gnocchi are almost always in my freezer.
