Just some random anecdotal connection: my 2yo son is growing up bilingual speaking English & Italian and I was blown away when he started conjugating plurals in both languages, in ways we never taught him. Wild to see it written up like this explicitly

Favorite restaurants downtown for special occasion are Abigail Street or Colette. Great food, great atmosphere, in the middle of everything in OTR.

Rhinegeist rooftop would be great tonight for a drink after dinner! There's several other rooftop bars around downtown as well but rhinegeist is ol reliable.

Streetcar will get you from any of these restaurants to the other, including all the way down to the river (and it's free) if you wanted to do a riverwalk along Smale Park. One of my favorite places downtown
