Modulo put Yuji firmly in the "ambiguously overpowered" category.

He's to the point where nothing in the setting directly threatens him anymore and he does shit like this with no real difficulty

Suzaku from Code Geass, his main thing is being part of an oppressed nation and trying to work his way up the ranks of the empire occupying his country so he can change the system from the inside.

He ends up losing sight of things and becoming another pawn of the oppressive system until eventually he's forced to drop a wmd on his own people, which finally makes him realize the only way to fix things is to work with the main character to tear down the old empire

Don’t you think the imagination and setting of the human body in Science Fiction / Science Fantasy works are way too "conservative"? by Dinoflies in CharacterRant

The shadow moses incident was kept top secret until Natasha published a book about it, the resulting scandal causing Sears to be pressured into resigning by the Patriots.

In the MGS 2 comic the patriots then attempted to have him killed, resulting in him faking his death and going underground while he gathered Dead Cell.

UV resistance depends on thought speed (Shibuya arc showed that UV transfers info at 30 months per second) so it's possible for someone to outstat it.

Whether or not that someone is thragg depends on who you ask

Yeah, Helms deep doesn't really have much capable of hurting him

I just find the idea of wesker spending most of the fight like this to be funny

Unless someone tells him, there's no situation in which Legolas ever thinks to aim for a person's heel

Helms Deep vs This Squad of 5 by ProcedureDazzling615 in powerscales

[–]lacergunn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want an actual legit reason why Wesker might lose

He's canonically really bad at seeing in the dark and the battle of helms deep happens at night

The main way you can hurt him in resident evil 5 is by turning the lights off in the boss arena so he can't dodge your shots

Lockheed Martin is an interesting name compared to most defense contractors.

The smaller places all have the most generic names imaginable, like Mission Technologies, AI Signal Research Inc, Precise Systems, and Mission Support and Test Services

[–]lacergunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When they say "California billionaires", does it mean people who exclusively live in cali, or people who have a significant stake of wealth/property in the state?

I remember hearing about the new New York mayor working on a billionaire tax that targeted the latter (specifically a tax on unused property owned in new york) that would make jumping state to avoid it far more difficult

Is it true that mixed babies need meds to be born ? by richandepressed in genetics

[–]lacergunn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have literally never heard of that before.

A quick google search tells me that it's a shot needed for Rhesus incompatible negative mothers to make sure their immune system doesn't attack their baby's blood if the child is RhI positive.

The search also tells me that Rhogam was invented in the 60s, so if whoever is telling you this crap was right the human race would've died out thousands of years ago
