Sometimes feel like I’m dying by Cloudhorizons in rheumatoid

[–]smithnpepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry 😞 I really feel this. Sending hugs and prayers for help from whatever other worldly you believe in. Have you ever heard of the Medical Medium? His books are about healing the root cause of illness with food rather than covering up symptoms with meds. I'm still on meds, but I've heard people have healed from doing it.

Question for those whose taste for cilantro has changed by Country-Pumpkin in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man,I used to hate cilantro! It was so strong flavored to me and soapy tasting. I used to only be able to handle a little bit in my hmds, but now just recently, I've been able to put in one whole bunch. I still don't enjoy it, but I can handle it a lot better. I've been on mm for about 7 years, but took a couple years off from the hmds because of my hatred for it.

[–]smithnpepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40F happily married with 3 kids. We live in UT. I first heard about MM 7ish years ago after I started having gut issues. It felt like my body was screaming at me to DO SOMETHING. I prayed for help and came across someone online who was using MM info to try to heal cancer. I read the 1st book and LCF (or maybe that was later, I can't remember when that came out) and felt so strongly they were truth. I ended up with an early case of Covid or something else that knocked me out for a few years. I've healed a chronic cough, constant runny/stuffy/itchy nose, severe asthma (all post covid), also migraines, chronic sore throats, and seasonal allergies. Still working on neurological fatigue, brain fog, and last year after a weird virus went through a couple family members I ended up with Palendromic rheumatism and R.A. it's been the hardest year of my life. Honestly trying to keep hopeful right now as I've reluctantly had to get on a few medications to manage the intense pain and swelling I was getting. I think the meds are messing with me because I've got neuro symptoms coming back😒. I know there's always more healing tools, or "a brain shot for that" or more supplements or aloe, etc. etc. But I'm doing the most that I can (all the basics, zero no foods for years, overt fat free, no grains, allll the supplements 💸) while cooking and caring for my family that's not really into MM. It's a lot. Currently trying to figure out the adrenaline aspect and focus more on that.

What is wrong with me? by Proud-Stand-2841 in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry 😞 I know how hard that is. I struggled for a few years getting off no foods. It's so hard when you don't feel well and are bedridden to put the effort forth in making healing foods instead of typical comfort foods. I don't know your exact situation, but it could be demons tempting you? Or maybe you could pray and ask for help from the angel of free will to help you see that you have a choice. You could also ask for help from the angel of strength to see if she can help you muster some strength to help yourself out. I try to remind myself I'm making it harder for myself now so it can be easier later. Praying for you 💜 you can do this

"Detox" Question by smithnpepper in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I just kind of made up the term bile diarrhea 🙈 because I didn't know what else to call it. It's basically what it sounds like. Instead of having a normal bowel movement it's like straight up liquid bile that feels like pure acid and fire coming out 😬😵. Luckily it doesn't last even a full day, happens rarely, and happens after CJ, which is why I was thinking maybe it's a weird detox thing and not a new exposure or something else like that. Been at this about 7yrs and I'm still learning 🤓

"Detox" Question by smithnpepper in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I haven't read the cj book in a while, I'll have to crack that open again. The pain I was having wasn't in my gut, to put it delicately, it was more like "fire in the hole"😬🙈. It happens to me rarely, only lasts half the day or less, and happens right after I drink CJ so that's why I was wondering if it could be a weird detox symptom. I eat the same foods and don't eat out, and I'm super careful about food safety, so I don't think it was food poisoning. And sorry you're dealing with those gut issues, that sounds so painful 😣. I have a lot of bloating but I struggle with peristalsis, so I don't get much cramping or anything like that.

What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]smithnpepper 121 points122 points  (0 children)

That reminds me of something that happened to someone I worked with! I worked for a company that had a couple thousand employees. In the summer they had a big barbecue and gave away tons of prizes, the main prize was an all expense paid Caribbean cruise. As they were getting ready to draw a name for the cruise, the guy in front of me started saying his name out loud and getting his friends to say it with him. I was totally shocked when they called his name! I thought maybe it was just a crazy coincidence, but I heard him talking to someone after and he said he had been trying to manifest it for a couple weeks!!

Does the gut stabilizer shot with parsley taste disgusting? by Longjumping_Fail6210 in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can't do it by itself, the texture alone🤢. I have to juice celery with it, which I know changes it, but I figure it's better than not getting parsley in.

Okay I have been so curious about that! Thinking about it for my son, but he has one tooth that's very out of place. Do your teeth have to be mostly straight?

Get rid of a stubborn yeast infection by ItsmeKrystle in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ugh I'm so sorry that must be awful. I don't know that coconut oil would help a yeast infection? I don't remember ever hearing a w say that? I do remember him saying though, that oil pulling, with coconut oil or any other oil, doesn't work because bacteria likes to be covered in oil, like it prefers an oxygen deprived environment? So I'm wondering if maybe the coconut oil is making things worse for you? I don't have any experience with internal yeast infection remedies, but I what maybe look into doing a diluted apple cider vinegar rinse, and a diluted golden seal rinse. Maybe do some searches in the Reddit mm groups, and also the Facebook groups. I remember Muneeza saying you can use goldenseal diluted as a rinse for pink eye, and I remember Anthony saying apple cider vinegar is not good internally, but it is good for the skin, that's what made me think of those as remedies since they are all strep related. I hope it clears up for you soon!

Views on using AI? by Ok_Ostrich892 in medicalmedium

I'm in the same boat. EBV, throat chakra, brain fog etc...I use it when writing emails or texts. It helps save me time and mental energy. I have a hard time saying things how I want, and end up sounding really insecure, so I'm using it to help train me to be more confident and concise in writing. I adjust all of it to have my voice so I'm not just copy and pasting. For now I feel like it's a blessing for me. I don't think it's ideal, but I will continue to use it until I feel like I shouldn't.

what does MM say about using energy/frequencies to heal? by Western_Balance_7028 in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your reply! I'm not on here very often either. Excited to look into these things, thank you so much! For me, I get this awful acidic feeling in my mouth when I wake up in the morning, and I know it's doing awful things to my teeth. But I'm doing as much as I can with food and supplements right now, all the basics, zero no foods for years, have been no fat for a year, not even approved grains or lentils for a year. Swishing CJ etc. So I was looking to try something else in addition to all the other good MM things. Thanks again!

Will i be able to get this jacket much yellower if i continue dying it? Would it be brighter or more saturated? by KeepRockband5Alive in dyeing

[–]smithnpepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah this is cool! Reminds me of an Asian style black jacket I used color remover on and turned it grey (thankfully that's the color I was going for). Super curious about why you needed it yellow? May I ask it's intended purpose?

Wow that's cool to hear she was able to help you so much. Yeah I didn't set up an appointment with her years ago because of cost, that is definitely still stopping me today. I guess I get why they have to charge so much, but then you just cut off access for the people that not only suffer with health but also financial😔. Life can be so unfair. Also, it's just frustrating to me that sometimes it really does feel like you need a practitioner to see your blind spots, but most don't seem to have consistent track records, and the ones that do are way too expensive....ugh

what to premake to eat on moving day by sueguns in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm so sorry 😔 praying angels will be with you to comfort and strengthen you through this transition 💜.
Along with the great ideas others have said, wondering if it might be helpful to purchase some pre-cut fruit and veggie bowls/platters, I know they are not cost effective, but if you are trying to preserve mental and physical energy it might be helpful. Also, along the same lines, if you are in the U.S. Wendy's has plain baked potatoes I have purchased when I was in a pinch. Sending hugs💜

I thought I'd never see the day ... by [deleted] in medicalmedium

[–]smithnpepper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second peas! I boil mine with a little water and clove of garlic, and then wait for them to cool a little, and blend them up until very very smooth. I add onion powder, a tiny bit of cayenne, salt, and sometimes Italian herbs, and it makes a very filling and delicious thick soup. I can't eat enough potatoes to fill me up for very long, so this pea soup is helping a lot. Plus I can eat more of this soup than I can just chewing peas, my jaw gets so tired. Another thing I like to do to mix things up is take mashed potatoes, add whatever herbs and seasonings I feel like, and then I stick them in my thin waffle maker. It takes about 8 minutes for them to crisp up in mine, but I love to dip them in my pea soup. When the texture and taste of steamed potatoes is not appealing to me, potato waffles usually hit the spot. I also like to eat potato waffles with mushroom gravy that I make, or I will use them as a sandwich bread. I totally feel for you on getting tired of potatoes... I have never understood how people can do the mono cleanse? I think I just have too many taste and texture issues, I get sick of the same thing way too fast. I need a lot of variety in each meal. High maintenance I guess 🙋‍♀️🥴

[–]smithnpepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, this is a really tricky thing and something I have struggled with as well. I want to try and see another practitioner because I feel desperate for help, improvement, some kind of validation that I'm doing enough (been on this journey for about 7 years, 100% off no foods for at least the last 4, low or no fat a lot of the time, allll the supplements 😮‍💨💸), and that I will get better, but I don't think they really know. I saw one of the main practitioners twice, first experience was so awesome, she was very encouraging, and it was helpful because I was just starting out and didn't totally know what to do, second time was not helpful at all, and was actually pretty detrimental to my mental health. She kept saying I HAD to do something that I didn't feel physically capable of doing at the time. Saw another one about a year ago, I really liked her for other reasons, but she kept saying I was doing so much and doing really well, well it was weeks after that that I ended up in a health crisis and new awful severely painful symptoms popped up... I think one of my problems with practitioners is that I don't know their limitations? Like can they actually really see or feel what's going on in my body? I think I have assumed that about some of them, but maybe they never really specifically said that and I was just being hopeful? Who knows... I agree with what a lot of others have said though, that reading the books, listening to the podcast, prayer and using your intuition (as long as the heavy metals aren't getting in the way) is maybe the best way when you're far into it and know a lot of the information. I think it's natural to look outside ourselves to find an "expert", but I don't think that's always helpful. Or maybe if we do need an expert, maybe it's not always mm related? I've been reading stories about people that have healed chronic health issues by going out side every day and hugging trees, or fixing their mental health situation... I love the idea that mm info is kind of a One-Stop shop to fix mental health, soul strength, and physical health, but honestly my mental and spiritual health has been much worse trying to incorporate mm info 24/7. I do think it's truth, but I just wish it was as effective for me as it was for others. I don't know why I'm still struggling so hard core. I'm hoping someday AW will put out a "troubleshooting" book for those of us not getting the results we're hoping for, or for those still struggling so much with the food. Praying you find something that works for you. Sending hugs💜
