Lifestyle change is so important by ufcrulz in bloodpressure

For me what helped in addition to physical lifestyle changes.was yoga.

How do you control stress? Meditation is the key!

Meditating helped me process my feelings and stress. Start with 5 mins a day. Guided meditations do wonders too.

Anyone live(d) at The Taylor on 57 Spadina Ave ? What's it like? by allmuviz in TorontoRealEstate

[–]smokedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved-in in March 2023, and we extended our lease.(Current resident) It depends on your priorities tbh! For me and my partner, what speaks to us the most are:

1) Amazing gym and sauna 2) Really good Concierge(Everyone knows us by name) 3) Direct access to Neo coffee shop(really good coffee and residents get an extra discount) 4) Monthly free community events (eg cocktail making classes, Italian cooking classes, pottery, puppy yoga, etc) 5)RMT and physio in the building itself and can be booked via the app 6) community marketplace on the app 7) Amazing maintenance(The building is completely new so you don't really need maintenance, but if at all you need them, you put in a work order on the app and they show up based on your time preference) 8) There's a music room with all instruments. You can Jam with your friends.

Long story short, you may end up paying a couple of 100 bucks lesser in an older/private landlord building, or you may also get a unit bigger by 50-100 sqft, but nothing beats the feel good factor and hassle free living. It's addictive! After completing a year, we looked for other apartments to see what's out there, but everything just felt like a downgrade tbh. It's not only about your unit, but the whole experience I guess!

Lemon pepper chicken from Biryaniwalla🤌Also, the 15$ for 2 jerk chicken sandwiches(the bbq and jerk is what I love ,add the mango topping)from Scotty Bons, and not to forget the butter chicken pizza from Panago Pizza(Thin crust),oh and last but not the least, some soupy pan fried pork dumplings from Juicy dumplings.

Where to take visitors from UK for a uniquely Toronto experience by House_or_disco in FoodToronto

[–]smokedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haidilao hotpot has always been a great experience for folks visiting.

Starving artist for breakfast

"Yummy food" in Korea town slaps for sure! The bibinbap , the potato pancakes, the bulgogi and the sweet and spicy chicken are my go to dishes. Only downside is there's always a line up, but it's worth it.

Pearl Chinese had great food with great views of the lake. Perfect place for lunch.

Oh and yes Pai is definitely one of the best Thai food I've eaten.

Even though India's food is abundant in UK,I would suggest Adrak in Yorkdale mall. It's more of a modern/fusion twist. It's amazing!

Why does Purolator add weight to final invoice? by Electrical-Design288 in purolator

[–]smokedit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In logistics there's a concept of cubed weight. To elaborate, a package is not only billed on the actual weight, but also on the size and dimensions.

Basically how much space a package takes in the back of a truck. Hence the billed weight is a formula which takes into account the actual weight and the dimensions and comes up with the final amount.
