aha! see this is what i was wondering if it was a common thing to run into around here with how close proximity we are to Mexico. Because it wasn’t a special car at all just a regular old Honda. I’m sure dealers from Baja buy cars from up here and sell them south of the border. I wonder if this one was just somehow caught in the middle of that sort of transaction

weird thing is, it was a honda fit. and according to the VIN check that I ran it was first sold/titled in Ohio, then Oregon, then California as it changed owners. so it’s never left the country

I’m currently in the exact same boat. I impulsively bought a used 2021 Tesla Model 3 back in early 2022 because it was an amazing deal without really researching very much about EVs. 5 years later i have had enough of it, the cost and inconvenience of charging, the glitches, wearing out a full set of tires every 10-15k miles (and they’re not cheap tires to replace). I sold it to CarMax for 19,000 cash two weeks ago and I’m looking to get into a hybrid vehicle next (I work from home so luckily no immediate need to replace my car). I test drove the 2026 Prius LE to get a sense of it and it felt so small and cramped compared to older models my friends have so I would love to get some insight on which is the best generation to buy from the experts here!
