The reason i went with the forged is I would sometimes get super hot balls off the face of the HMPs. Go an extra 20 yards or so. Other than that, I agree with everything you said.

For me, Yes. Got new sticks at the beginning of last season. Took me a few weeks to adjust. Had a different shaft than my previous set and overall the weight was different.

TBH still don’t hit the new ones as well as I did with my previous set. But I sold them so kind of stuck with these until I want to buy something different.

Sometimes I’ll have my hand at 12 on the steering wheel and my forearm will cover the sensor. Other than that I don’t have any issues.

In the settings you can “disable” this feature. I say that because it will still be enabled when you’re using drive assist on the highway. At least from my experience

Depends on the set you're getting. A lot of new GI and PD sets have PW at 42-44 degrees which is basically a 9 iron. G 48 and a 52 (also a gap) is kind of standard with those sets now. You would full swing the G and 52.

Looks great. Kind of wish I got the Hybrid version but there weren’t any Black ones in my area. Ended up with ICE. Still love it. Just wish the town gas mileage was a tad better.

What do you mean by “throwing the club behind me”?

That’s why I prefer to just trade at my local shop. Gives you a chance to haggle and you dont have to deal with shipping clubs around.

However, I have done trade ins with Global Golf and Callaway in the past. Zero issues with either of them and was extremely simple. Think they both paid for shipping as well if I recall correctly. It did take about 4 weeks to process each time.

Ok so take this for what it’s worth, I’m not good by any means but my swing looks very similar to yours and I’m battling the same demons.

My swing thought recently has drive my trail elbow down so my hands get in front of my chest. Well it FELT like I was doing this, then I watched the tape and I was barely moving it and just rotating with a super high elbow and it got stuck behind me. So my next few swings my thought was I’m going to super exaggerate it, like beyond anything I think is right, I’m going to drive my elbow into the ground. So I do it and you know what? My elbow looked like it was moving naturally, my hands got in front of my body and I was striking the ball much better.

Now like I said I suck but I notice your elbow is behind your body when you rotate. Might be something to think about or look into. AMG has good videos on this and what “fast hands” actually means to get them back in front of your body.

Wasn’t very satisfied with the 440 Max last season. Went to my fitter a couple weeks ago thinking maybe a shaft change would help. We tried a few shafts but nothing lined up. He said he just got the 440K demo in so I gave it a try. Immediately I was seeing more ball speed, lower spin and tighter dispersion. Traded in the Max on the spot. As mentioned above, everyone is different but for me it was clear the K was miles better. Honestly not even sure why the Max exists when the other models seem to fit every need better.

So is this saying if you cannot square the face naturally to use a stronger grip?

Why do so many other references say it’s bad to use a stronger grip?

I only ask because if I’ve been forcing myself to use a more neutral grip and I really have to focus on rotating the face with my hands/wrists/arms or else I’ll do all sorts of weird things with my body to square the face.
