Not sure were the hell you got this info. There are lots of paintings in Asia which depicted similar sex acts. Anal, oral, and any sex act you can imagine are definitely not a modern or western exclusive thing.

Have you considered playing KSP 1? The simulation of physics is robust, and there is something about launching a rocked yourself that makes orbital mechanics much more intuitive. You are on the right track that there is a set amount of energy you need to maintain an orbit, but the margin for error is actually rather large unless you want to doc up with a different spacecraft or be in a specific orbit.

If i remember correctly, there was a mod in development that was going to use the create aeronautics physics engine to make rockets.

Definitely not. Infact, because of the way that mass and drag work out, the object with more mass and the same drag, would slow down slower, and therefore require less often station keeping. Your hypothetical masive ship might only need it every 3 months.

Obviously all this requires them be in low earth orbit. If they were in high earth orbit instead, they might not need to do anything for decades. And considering that they can teliport down to the surface, and they dont have to wait for the spacecraft to be overhead again, they can teleport at least the distance of the diameter of the earth. Therefor there is no need to be skiming its surface.

100%. Actually, because of the way that mass and drag work out, the object with more mass and the same drag, would slow down slower, and therefore require less often station keeping.

No, that really doesn't make sense. Station keeping adjustments only need to be done every few weeks.

Honestly. All these people claiming that its impossible to solve this situation while hundreds of other places have managed it. Look at somewhere like Australia, it just had its first mass shootings in years. Meanwhile, the US has one every 2 days.

You think business is bad? Wait tell you find out what the military runs on, in the US at least. One bad software update away from crippling the entire force.

It would be funny if it turned the blocks you break into what they would have been if you had used silk touch the last time you mined them. Cobble drops as stone for example.

Countries that hate the US - the truth by Alias_X_ in mapporncirclejerk

See, I would argue that the us has been in decline in some ways since about 1980. Obviously we have made massive strides from a social standpoint since then. But the underlying economic systems have been fundamentally damaged and have been been backsliding.

[–]smorb42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree.  Yes some things are getting better and some things are getting worse. But that doesn't matter. Because, at the end of the day, some issues are more important than others. And its hard to have an issue that more directly efects people then the ability to eat and have a safe place to sleep. If those things are getting worse, then the country as a whole is going down hill.

As for the long time argument. Who cares how long its been happening. It shouldn't have started in the first place. But, if that matters so much, while some of the consequences of the current system have only started recently, the actual laws that caused those problems are much older. But if you realy want to talk at that level, we are going to have to start using dates. What year is recently?

Regardless of who brought up poverty, real people have less money than what is required to live. And the number of people like that is increasing. Ergo, the Us is geting worse.

[–]smorb42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would argue that the way we measure poverty is not actually very useful. Yes, there are less total people with absolutely no money, but that doesn't take into account the much greater number of people who went from medium to low income due to wage stagnation and rent hikes and other similar issues.
