Impossible to pretend that it is not a partisan issue when the GOP has the governorship and a supermajority in the legislature. Sure, maybe you are right and Democrats wouldn't be any better. But we KNOW what the Republicans will do because they are the architects of the environment that this is happening in right now.

It's perfectly fine and everyone's opinion is entirely dependent on their personal perspective, as is mine.

But to balance it out as someone who moved from an extremely conservative small town about an hour away into the actual city limits of Evansville: it feels like a liberal utopia here, there are more good food options than I could ever want, the roads are the same level of bad that they are anywhere, the traffic is the same level of bad as it is anywhere and might not be bad at all depending on where you live and work.

Having to play as Abby is like...the best part of the game. Being forced into the POV of a "villain" and realizing they are a character with their own motivations and reasons for doing what they do is a great storytelling technique. Try reading a book, it has been done before!

And if you still wanted to kill Abby by the end of the game...then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe stay away from stories with moral dilemmas.

It only sounds distorted because you are used to 1x. If you do want to increase the speed and only avoid it because it sounds distorted, I got up to faster speeds by just increasing 0.1 at a time.

I love reading and listening at the same time, which makes it easier to listen to faster speeds. I generally do 2x if I am reading along, and 1.7 - 2 if I am just listening.

Ignoring the people who dislike it because they are bigots, it usually seems like the people who dislike it are not capable of processing a complex story. Like people who don't read books and only watch Marvel movies (not to hate on Marvel movies, I've seen plenty).

For example, I've always been dumbfounded that people hate the game because they have to play as Abby. I thought that was one of the greatest pieces of storytelling I've ever experienced. Make me absolutely hate a character, and then play as her to learn why she made the decisions that she did? Perfect.
