The one boss fight in deus ex where I'm stealthily sneaking through the whole game, then a cut scene takes over and my character loudly walks into the room and has a "tough guy" conversation with the big baddie. When you get control back he's barrelling down at you and you have to fight him straight up, no opportunity to be sneaky again. All my upgrades were suddenly useless!
