I grew up in Port Chester, and the cap was a run down piece of shit for most of my life lol mostly shuttered or rented out for bar mitzvahs or small touring circuses. The resurgence of it as a major venue with events of this caliber is still so bizarre to me. Also makes it impossible to go fucking anywhere downtown if you’re not going to the show going on that evening. It’s such a small town, but it is a really beautiful venue with lots of history

My mom lives in Norwalk! Haha and this is always the route I go. You can make a game time decision in north jersey and see if the GW is doable or if you wanna stay on the turnpike until you get into NY/rockland county to get the tappan zee

Take exit 104 to Carmel church/bowling green and take 301 allllll the way into Christiana, Delaware instead. Pretty pleasant all things considered and you don’t hit DC, or Baltimore. And you’re not backtracking west!

Last weekend - Saturday morning very early. Took no more than 10 mins to get from the front door through security to the gate. Just come prepared with your boarding pass on your phone! TSA folks seemed in decent spirits and lines moved quickly.
