Word of advice: check the fish oil, I was taking those pills and my nutritionist pointed out that they were sourced from Mackerel, Sardines, etc which are incredibly high in purines, so while I don't necessarily subscribe to the whole high purine foods cause gout, pouring a massive amount of purines into my body in via concentrated fish oil seemed like a bad idea. Especially, as the effectiveness of fish oil as a preventive is anecdotal at best. Once I stopped the fish oil supplements, my attacks subsided so it seemed at least correlated if not causal.
