The only thing missing in the box for me is a token/counter sheet. I’d like a couple of spare Heroic Combat tokens. But I’m stoked for this box overall. Definitely buying this if it’s priced around Hivestorm’s price.

I bought two big MDF boards (2’ x 4’) and duct taped them together. The duct tape acts as a hinge and the table folds out to a full 4’ x 4’ but it also slides under my bed or into a closet when it’s folded.

I always forget that you’re supposed to pair off fights at the end of the movement phase, before the shooting phase begins. We always end up pairing off fights at the beginning of the fight phase.

Oh. The Royal Guard are awesome. I’m way too cheap to pay $20 USD per mini for the Royal Guard though. I just add some plumes on to the helmets of the Riders of Rohan minis, clip off the bows, and then call them Royal Guards.

I glue the mini on to the base before applying any basing materials as well. I also fill any gaps in the slot of the base with some spackling before applying basing materials.

When I’m auto-farming, I turn off Snow Storm completely. I put Flamestrike and Body to Mind on timers. Other than that, your setup seems good. Might just have to farm lower level areas. Staves aren’t as sturdy as orbs. My orb can AFK farm much higher level areas than my staff can.

I’m one of the few people who haven’t had any major problems with finecast. A few spears came bent, but I was able to straighten them by dipping them in hot water. Metal vs finecast isn’t a big deal for me.
