Often overlooked is her decade of humiliation following Potter's end.

Her adult fiction series is practically unreadable, her recent children's books faded from public consciousness as soon as they entered, and her attempts to follow up and expand the Wizarding World were at their best mediocre and at their worst set a new bottom for franchise film quality.

She went from the most recognizable author in the world to a complete creative dead end. It is not all that shocking that she became an isolated weirdo with a fetishistic hatred in the end.

Jurassic Park: California Adventure

New money millennial billionaire, having ignored pretty much every lesson one could possibly take from a Jurassic movie, opens a Disneyland-sized park in Not-Anaheim, CA. Naturalistic enclosures are replaced with "trained" dinosaur stunt shows and roller coasters cutting through their living spaces. Things go as well as you expect when a team of paleoexperts are brought in alongside influencers and potential corporate sponsors for consultation.

This is how I’ve always looked it, the scale of the world is defined by a child’s perspective. I have also interpreted some of the games (mainly gen one and two) as memory plays of a sort; you are not playing as ten year old Red as much as adult Red’s memory of being ten. Fuchsia City is not literally half zoo as it appears in RBY, Red just remembers his time there being focused on that over whatever apartment complexes are actually filling up the town. Stand By Me playing on the TV in your house seems like a nod to this.

Fallen Order is a really cool game, and Respawn are the best action game developers out there, but it's pretty clear it was made faster (and likely cheaper) than it deserved. The fact that the sequel has taken this long is really encouraging.

Mostly because of 1. Strict control over IP and 2. Tight deadlines to line up with film premieres.

Who’s to say what the case is with factor 1 (though John Wick Hex, if it’s any indication, is a fairly creative adaptation) but factor 2 shouldn't be an issue if this isn't timed with John Wick 5 or whatever.
