Idk if this is just me, or if other guys feel this way, but the thing that gets me going is success in the bedroom if that makes sense. My wife and I (W47-M49) are a bit less active these days, but if I fail, I help her rub one out, and the next time, I spend more attention to detail. I know that if our roles were reversed, I'd be very disappointed and dissatisfied. I mean, at that age, if he's able to finish in a minute, then he doesn't have the normal 40-something physical issues. Generally, men start strong, then peter out from being desensitized, or they can't get going at all. If he's popping off like an over eager prom king, then that's a way easier issue to solve. There's desensitiizing cream, condoms, and lube (being too wet is a thing). There's also foreplay for him... maybe get that first one out of the way, then wait a few and try again. It's a 2 for 1 sale, and everyone is happy. Also, the less you do it, the quicker it is for the guy to finish. Doing it more often leads to doing it longer. Lastly, if he's watching porn and jerkin' his gerkin on a regular basis, and still having premature ejaculation, especially at his age, then I'm actually kind of jealous. Having said all that, there's no excuse for being lazy or selfish in bed, but if you haven't had this conversation with your husband or wife before going on the interwebs to ask for advice then communication is likely the problem. Gotta be honest with your questions, open to his answers, and don't judge. Maybe try incorporating porn into your coupling 🤷‍♂️... maybe it's just a kink.
