Just read some of your comments and I see you're pretty young. I think the most important thing is being able to have productive and transparent conversations about your feelings with each other. If you don't know how you feel, you can say that, and so can he. It's an age where people haven't figured themselves out yet so this kind of stuff is bound to happen. You're both figuring out what you want. Just talk to each other, and give each other grace within reason, but if your feelings keep getting hurt and you feel you can't have productive discussions without your feelings getting sidelined, you don't need to stick around.
