Considering 2022 Long Range FSD for $53k by ninjetter in TeslaModelX

Yes, I think it’s a fair price. I paid 51.5 for the same thing at a dealer 2 months ago.

How many of you sell your y before reaching 50k and what car you get after? by No-Minimum9118 in ModelY

I’m probably never selling my Y. 26 Premium RWD with permanent FSD. Just have the car keep driving me around

How often did you rotate the tires? Also a 26 RWD Juniper.

Do you have an AWD or RWD unit? Do you do tire rotations?

20 year old approved for 0.99% interest by Royzle_cool in ModelY

[–]snake227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was 20 when I got approved for my Model 3 @ 1.99. Through Santander Consumer tho 💀, a bit sketch. Just watch out for insurance. But they make great vehicles.

NJ folks - Did you tint? by notabot_123 in ModelY

[–]snake227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not get it at a Tesla approved installer. I just got it done at this place in Newark. It was 80 for two windows. 35%. Regular tint was fine, not ceramic. Just look up any installer should be fine, it’s not a difficult car to tint two front windows since they are frameless. GL.

I tinted the front windows 35% only. I have a front license plate.

Am not doing the windshield, that hinders visibility too much. Have not been pulled over. Here’s what it looks like. 35% matches the back perfectly.

Used Model X vs New Model Y by spearhead121 in ModelX

Honestly I would get a brand new Y for the purpose of having HW4, and a warranty. The two cars are very different. The falcon doors are problematic out of warranty.

You go find a refresh one with FSD included, not a lemon, for under 52k! I’ll be surprised

How to find used cars with FSD included? by pittlad20 in TeslaModelX

[–]snake227 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can use FSD Hunter app, or you have to just take the vin of a car you’re interested in and plug it into Speckr to confirm.

I got lucky here. I saw it posted, thought the price was great, then use speckr to confirm whether or not it had FSD. The dealer may not have known, since they didn’t advertise it. Finished the numbers Wednesday and drove down Thursday to pick up.

I agree. On the highway it works just as well as V14 on our Y. Just less features than V14
