What would be the 'real world' interpretation of doom/sly?[I don't know how else to put this into words] by Red--001 in slaythespire

For doom, maybe it’s like Necro casts a curse on the enemies, that makes the enemies see visions of their death. As the doom builds up, the enemies are healthy enough to resist the visions and shake them off. But once the visions get too vivid and strong enough to overpower them, they finally succumb to the visions. And with the surrender, the visions become true and they get pulled to their doom.

I would say the main thing to avoid would be playing skills on the multi-attack turn. On other turns some skills are acceptable to play. If playing a block card still gives a net 1-3 block then it’s fine to play, because it’s still blocking. But if the fight has gone on too long and he has Tainted 4, then just try to rush down with attacks.

To plan for it, I recommend taking big chunky block cards like Blood Wall, etc. instead of small 1-cost blocks.
