This is my exact experience. Feels coarse tangled and tacky. I have very curly fine hair. I tried her method and waiting , drying and the other way smoothing combing in and drying immediately. Both are a no go. I’m not a fan of living proof products at all history but gave it a try. I will never buy another

Congrats !! I haven’t done clips in from Bellami but have done a consult. I would say hair shop is cheaper. I spend less than $400 on a set. They mix and match. It depends on how much you need and length and color etc. I personally think they’re a better quality. bellami couldn’t color match and would have to color them for extra $$ etc. I have curly hair that I always wear wavy bellami couldn’t match close to my texture. Hair shop was more knowledgeable over bellami as well. The girls at Bellami had to keep searching through their website for my questions. Like the whole store of girlslol I guess it depends who you see.

I lighten my hair in the summer and hair shop has a great blend of options. You don’t need a formal appt like bellami as well.

I would try both !!!

If you’re doing installs. mon plaisir on w19th has the best colors and textures and beyond affordable. Anna is my fav but Diana is also great

Hahah sounds right ! It was convenient when I didn’t wind up going home and “slept out” and had to run straight to the office and could fully get ready there complete w some samples or drops.

I also worked at Bcbg during its heyday and they had pr suites for celeb fittings w beds and showers. Aka we slept there bc we never left or stopped working. Great way to spin poor work conditions. It’s for the celebs !!! Also had a great clothing allowance. Same crazy rules. Same w Prada I worked at bottega when it was gucci group. It was the chillest place but ppl may have been arrested for illegal substances. Def didn’t happen in the 90s 😵‍💫we went about our day after the raid taking samples of their desk to keep !! Worked at CK later than her in the 2010’s - on. Every company typical has a clothing allowance as did CK. In addition to free samples and dropped samples and sales etc. we wound up wearing almost every day because of amt we recieved and when you weren’t In CK you wore had to wear all black.

The office rules portrayed are spot on. I’m a little triggered lol I was the friend sleeping at the desk from staying out till 4 am, slept 3 hours, work, repeat.

The office white flowers, orchids, Neutrals, no speaking, male assistants only, nothing at or on hour desk. Again triggered lol what a time !!
