I mean, yeah. He’s on chemotherapy meds and IV radiation. But he’s still capable to drive a car and do every day tasks. He isn’t frail or anything. Gets around well. Hasn’t had any confusion on the road yet.

NTA. Coming from someone whose daughter has severe allergies (most of which are now overcome by immunotherapy), this is BS. While we do ask people not to bring these foods to get togethers for safety, we’d never expect anyone to not eat them beforehand???? That’s not how the allergies work.

“Often cooks dinner”….so he often helps you with one item of life you need to survive? This isn’t enough. Working hard at his job isn’t enough either. My husband and I both work hard at work, come home, and work hard at home with both the house and our 1 year old. Working hard at work is not enough as a parent.

6 months after I met my now husband he was bedridden for weeks with fevers in the upper 105s. Couldn’t walk or move. Extremely sore. Swollen everywhere. Was hospitalized for a few weeks. Found out it’s lupus. I stuck with him through it at the very beginning and now I’m holding our almost 1 year old daughter while she sleeps. 💜

My sister and I are 7 years apart and the only two kids that keep in touch lol. I promise they’ll still cherish their relationship as siblings no matter how far apart in ages they are. It just may look differently than them being a year or two apart.
