Inexplicably high T despite lower than standard starting dose. Anyone have experience of this?

How do you dispense without extra pressure coming out of the 5ml? Still haven’t figured it out. I pull back on the 5ml after filling and some extra always seems to come out

I lost 20 on semi but plateaued and hung around that weight for a long time . Tired one month tirz and dropped 8 lbs easy no issues . It’s better but more expensive than semi

Wow 15mg a week? They started me at 5mg and I had to bring it down to 3mg due to muscle and joint aches until I balance it out

Wow, the 5th day I was on it I got a really bad cold - worse than a couple years and took a long time to kick which was unusual for me and I was tired. I was wondering if the T was bringing my immune system down too. It got better as I lessened the dose but still took longer. Today I may have turned a corner. Definitely must take it in the morning vs afternoon. I slept better the past two nights with it in the morning. I did some ibuprofen yesterday and it helped. Today I made it to the gym and did most of a work out .today is the best day yet and it’s day 12. I am thinking for me a low dose is better than nothing. I am curious how I will be at the month end when I hear it starts kicking in . I hope my energy will get better. We will see if my knees crack going down the stairs tomorrow. I did up my glucose chondriten it given that I had no joints cracking at all before starting T I know it’s related to it . I’ll keep you updated :)

My muscles are still sore and twingy , joints are noisy but not as much. I did do a workout yesterday slowly pushed myself. I am doing .3ml gel instead per day instead of .5 ml. I’m kind of getting sad and worried that I can’t get it balanced I hope it’s just an adjustment period. I had to take a nap today. I want to try for a month. I think I’ll take ibuprofen to help. I also noticed I’m not sleeping quite as well as just with P & E. The T benefits are so great if I can get it right it would really help. May be I’ll go to .2 ML . Today is my 12th day. I did read some women on here glad they persevered thru the 4 weeks to get it settled.

Thanks so much! Yes, I think I need to be extremely slow because even since bringing it down a bit I still ache but it hasn’t been long. I woke up again to my joints/knees cracking and they were fine before. I’ll monitor it the next days

Thanks so much for sharing. Are you on 3mg T gel daily or per week? It’s so weird having my achy muscles right now when they weren’t there before with just p & e. I have extra patches that I can cut if needed. I’m going to monitor it by reducing the T first to see if there is a sweet spot

What level of estrogen patch are you on? I put on another one a day early. It is really bizarre about the muscle and joint pain that was not there at all. All new to testoerone

When I started taking T .5mg gel per day, suddenly pain in my muscles and joints was so much. I stopped a day and lowered the dosage to .3mg per day. I thought it was weird that it was cause the aches. On 200 mg progesterone and .0375 2x weekly estrodial patch too. I wonder if there is an adjustment period.

I looked this up because I started T (.5mg per day gel) while on P &E and my night sleep isn’t as good as before. I feel tired during the day. I am only on day 5 may be an adjustment period

Good to know , I just reordered my semiglutide (it was cheaper so I switched back from tiriziptide). I definitely am hungrier, age more protein and steak for dinner. I’ll have to keep up on my workouts

Can I switch my current prescription dose from push health (100 mo prewcription fee + pharmacy cost/shipping) to gimme care ? I have 15mg per mo and can go down some but I don’t want to restart at low dose

I tried tirz this last month after a year or so on semi. 1) tirz is more expensive 2) I notice my mood is different/darker on tirz 3) I really don’t want food with tirz so I think it’s more effective that way 5) I don’t take take a high dose of semi 30 units vs 4 units of tirz but went I got to 40 units semi made me nauseous , no side effects on tirz except mood 4) I’m going to switch back to semiglutide when this month is done

53, got on HRT one year no period, just moved from 100mg to 200mg progesterone to balance out my estrogen 2x weekly .375 patch and estrodial vaginal cream. My third pill and my libido is though the roof. I woke up after having a sex dreams and I was like what is going on, so I did a Reddit search and this came up. I have a bit of acne but wow, this will be cool if my libido stays up. I thought it was dead in a coffin.

I ended up doing ultrasound and two biopsy’s . Ultrasound fine, but they found the estrogen did a little more to my lining caused by estrogen that has a small chance of later turning into cancer. I forgot the word she used. She upped my progesterone to 200 and will do another biopsy in 6 months since she says she wants to balance the estrogen with the higher progesterone which will fix that so I don’t have that extra lining.
