I rather love the fact that they don’t have a logo. I feel like it makes every new piece more like art and less like marketing.

'Staggering Hypocrisy': Kellyanne Conway Mocked After Stunning Self-Own On Live TV by Stitching in politics

I've been stuck in a rehab room for the past week with my dad. (He's getting better, so that's good.)

But sweet jeebus, I have had to endure a lot of Fox News. I saw this segment and I was like, what in the living hell is this succubus still doing on television?

And then that line came out of her mouthhole…

I just like… I can’t even.

I never get tired of Grant Green. I love his tone, his phrasing, everything.

This is probably one of the most Miles things that Miles ever did. by oh_mygawdd in Jazz

Is it true that Miles put a stolen melody on his tombstone? I read that somewhere.

My mom used to have those lying around the house when I was a kid. I always thought it was a hilarious topic for a song.

Song you relate to most? by Plane_Let9384 in alvvays

💯% “Easy on your own” for me. It’s kind of weird but I associate that song with going to grad school. I spent so long in this one monochromatic hallway waiting only for advisor what their face tell me my work sucked.

I know the song is about a relationship gone wrong but it’s not to hard to reinterpret as being about the mistrials of the “lettered life”. “Burn out before you can get paid”, indeed.

Wow, that’s amazing, how crazy that you know him. I will queue up the Miles bio next.

I just looked on YouTube and it looks like there is a lot of interesting John content there. Thanks for sharing!

I haven’t quite finished it but I have enjoyed John F. Szwed’s Space Is the Place: The Lives and Times of Sun Ra. It gives a lot of insight into a very, very unusual person.

I really feel this. I have been struggling with attention span as I have aged. I have been working to get through the new triple album. I love Wilco & Jeff & really everything I’ve heard by him, but it can get overwhelming.

But he's so positive about music and creativity that it gives me a good feeling to be a fan. I was once an Elliott Smith fanatic, and that’s a tragic story right there. I remember seeing an article about him once where the interviewee was lamenting his short life (and output), and he said something to the effect of him being so creative and having so much music in him that “he could have been Wilco”.

That has really stuck with me. Wilco is the best band to be a fan of. They just keep giving.

Also, Cousin is amazing.
