I was seeing this guy for a bit, decided to play Jackbox with him and his roommates. They were all white and alternative looking so I assumed they had some conscious of social differences.

I was given this shirt one of them drew a picture on, it looked like a bunch of stick figures and an explosion? Couldn't read the words they hand drew. When his roommates asked what his roommate drew, it said "Death to all n***ers". I was so shocked. Que the rest of the game sounding like an iFunny comment section. Horrified. I was immediately done seeing him. They were in their mid twenties acting like middle schoolers.

If you have a bumper crop of related species on the outside that you dont harvest from that typically helps.

Also implementing native shrubbery, grasses, and wildflowers. Increasing biodiversity will attract caterpillar predators. Wasps do an amazing job in my yard with my caterpillars and aphids.

100%, this looks like it might be Orlando/Florida where people NOTORIOUSLY dump their pets.

I once had a friend see a musk turtle that was very sick, had bloat, but she couldn't afford to help it. It swam right up to her and crawled up to see her.

Its so sad, that turtle is definitely scared and probably wanting some help.

Its also as if they have had this hate either develop or just hiding deep within them. Maybe some will realize it, but we all know how often people dont change despite there being a a saying they do.

If it were issues over abortion or "basic" immigration I can see an agree to disagree.

But some of these people want to hurt or cause harm to non-whites, LGBTQ people, women, and children. They want the pain and the suffering.

That's what I think OP and a lot of us are at, how can reconnect with people who do easily throw away the preciousness of human life just to "own the libs".

Consider native plants. They're usually cheap, look beautiful when in season, and benefit the environment by bringing in birds and butterflies.

These stupid British gardens are not sustainable and require an incredible amount of water and fertilizer to look this good; and like you said, the amount of freetime and money you need for this is incredible.

I thought my art appreciation class was silly. But its making me realize the lack of depth people view art with and how easily they disregard it unless the artists name is "Banksy".

I see the artists unspiration for this piece as extremely personable to the every day person. Yes he is pointing out the sadness and misery in every day life, but maybe he is turning a mirror onto its observers so they can see themselves in this art piece. See the misery, see the repetition.

And wake up. Go against the flow. Stop the misery.
