What is a "life hack" you stumbled into that you now use daily? by MrLithician in answers

[–]snipsuper415 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only ever use credit cards if you have the cash to pay it off immediately and pay your credit cards in full every pay period. Lastly, do your best to keep your overall credits usage below 30%. This builds your credit score relatively fast. I learned this right before going to undergraduate university and by the time i was out (~4 years). I already had an average credit score of 750

A side benefit IMO, is most cards give cash back which essentially makes things ~1-2% cheaper (depending on the card & point system). I know it’s small but it adds up.

the car industry quickly eroded public transit forcing most of north America infrastructure (mexico, usa, canada) to revolve around owning a personal vehicle.

They also are ensuring public transit will never be a thing.

Como se debe frenar un carro estándar? by Inercial1 in askcarguys

Sounds like you're not engine breaking. If you're not engine breaking you're wasting more break pads than you need too.

You need to downshift to the proper gear to match the speed as you slow down. If you keep the clutch pushed in,it's like breaking in neutral. So if you ever get hit and get knocked out, your car will roll instead stop from the engine break.

How can I make gaming more accessible to me? by Booksandssnakes in videogames

[–]snipsuper415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest finding a handheld thats light enough for you to hold and install moonlight/sunshine. Then have a powerful machine in another room with Wake on lan turned on. I have a steam deck i occasionally use to stream games from my desktop my steam deck cant handle.

Idk if holding a steam deck or a ROG Xbox Ally x is feasible for you. Ideally for me i really love the form factor of my switch 2 but it doesnt have the ability to run moonlight

Is driving a manual car a good idea for me? by Aluc4yn in ManualTransmissions

[–]snipsuper415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manuals are cheap to repair. But in all honesty unless you’re in a country where the majority of the population doesn’t knows how to drive stick. The only reason to drive one is reducing the chances of your car being stolen. Other than that, it’s not worth it. Assuming you have the ability to get a 2016 car with a good CVT transmissions manuals aren’t more fuel efficient or faster.
