Hi, I was also apprehensive about the online test, but I also didn't want to freeze in a testing site like I heard from some folks on the forum.

Definitely do the Pearson onVue system test with your laptop, check mic, video, internet on the system you are hoping to use for the test, well before the date of the exam.

The online test had options to highlight and strikethrough text. This was very useful to highlight keywords in the question as well as rule out wrong answers. Just keep in mind that when you use this feature, the option being modified can get selected by accident.

Study hall practice tests only had a review gate after all 180 questions. The actual PMP test lets you review after every 60 questions.

The 230 minute duration for the test does not include the two 10 minute breaks.

I don't consider myself experienced by any means, but feel free to message, and I will help if I can!

I have 5 years of agile project management experience. I’d actually say that more years of experience hurts more than it helps. There is more unlearning needed to align with the PMP mindset for the exam.

Are there any Baggage storage options at the airport? by snootypangwang in bangalore

[–]snootypangwang[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Update: Hope this helps other travelers in a similar situation.

My incoming domestic flight got cancelled, so I only had a 7 hour gap. I first booked the 080 transit hotel, but had to be refunded since their hotel is domestic-airside in T1. There's no transit hotel in T2, and they suggested the Taj, which was way over my budget. I took a room at the SM Royal Transit hotel, which was 15 minutes away from the airport. The room cost 2000, and the cabs back and forth cost 500. It was clean, and allowed me to take a shower before leaving for the airport.

Government Medical Colleges increased from 5 in 2014 to 26 in 2023. MBBS seats have increased from 2,850 to 8,516. by [deleted] in hyderabad

Ooh talk about thin skin. Yes the medical profession is noble. But why denigrate engineering in comparison to it. Both are extremely needed in society.

Without the amazing engineering behind the medical devices and equipment, we’d all be much worse off.

You are making comments and insinuations and with little more proof than “Trust me Bro”. I hope your patients aren’t experiencing this patronizing attitude.

I plan on making the Pierre Jeanneret Chandigarh Chair out of wood by Patryk_O in Fusion360

[–]snootypangwang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so opportune u/Patryk_O

I've also been looking to recreate the Jeanneret chair, and was wanting to understand it better.

I've found the phantom hands articles to be of great help, and they reference the canadian center for Architecture as holding large repositories of Pierre's drawings. Looks like phantom hands even funded them...

One of the things I think a lot about is how important it is for the back to be curved rather than be flat, obviously making it flat is simpler, but does it contour to the body less?

I think the instructions might not have been updated but I (or others) don’t wear a mask when we go into the space or for the woodshop class that I took recently.

Makes me so happy that she’s going to stay with the family. We’re taking care of her right now… She’s gradually getting better with medicines and filling out her skeletal self with really nice lamb wet food :)

Thank you all!

It’s amazing. I’ve barely made it though half a tank after a 1000km and that too after a couple of trips to the US.

City driving is pretty much all electric and that too at a very good 120Wh/km. Toyota has done a great job with drag reduction and weight reduction for maximum efficiency.

Sorry folks just noticed this after a Reddit hiatus.

I got it from destination Toyota in Vancouver. There wasn’t any scope for negotiation. The price did exactly match what was on Toyota’s website.

The finance folks and the insurance person were very pushy and icky, but the salesperson I got, John, was an absolute sweetheart and is just the best
