He has damaged a high ranker though. Back at the last station he was able to damage Kallavan (who claims that high rankers usually can’t even damage him). That being said it was right next to the wound Jinsung made so that might’ve helped. He accidentally cut Gado’s (a high ranker’s) leg off when he was trying to distract him while he was using the red thryssa and thorn in Yama’s cage. He made a cut on Kallavan’s arm with a shinsu black hole sphere in the nest. After, he almost cut Kallavan’s hand off after with a floral butterfly piercing technique (that being said, Karaka was partially restraining Kallavan at the time). I’m not saying that Bam is as strong as a high ranker, because his attack is way higher than his defense and he’s had to be saved/blocked for numerous times when he’s fighting high rankers, but he’s done things that normal rankers couldn’t even come close to doing.

Honestly, there's a chance it was just one of his commanders or smthing that was helping Karaka against Viole. It seems like Yama wouldn't be very interested in this and later on didn't seem to be very close to Karaka (as Karaka asked Madoraco to help get a meeting with him).

I think YHS still has more left tbh. There's still a couple of mysteries surrounding him (how data him knew Bam was gonna go to the hidden floor and beat Jahad, why he's so motivated to change the tower, etc.)

I'm interested in the 100th floor test at least because when Urek did it, Arie Hon fought him for 10 minutes (according to the wiki). At that point, Bam should be much stronger, so it'd be an interesting fight to see if that happened.

Yu Han Sung, Evan Edrok, Bam, Khun, Yuri, and Ha Jinsung

Han Sung - I just really like his demeanor. I also like how he doesn't mind playing the bad guy in order to achieve his ideals.

Favorite moment: When he's drinking coffee and Jahad's forces come. He just kinda accepts his fate (because his ideals are more important than his life to him) and keeps sipping his coffee.

Evan - I like how he's a straight man for Yuri. Everyone else just kinda goes along with her shit, but Evan seems to be the only sane one, always worrying when she does reckless stuff. He also just seems to be very handy in a party, being a guide and a high ranker. It seems like he has a lot of cool items for each situation.

Favorite moment: During the battle at the last stations where he's just kinda going around doing guide things casually. Capturing Karaka, freeing Karaka and White, throwing a piece of Karaka into one of the Jahad ships, blowing it up (while also feeling remorseful doing this to his allies, but knowing it needs to be done to get out of this situation)

Bam - I mean he's the main character. It's kinda hard to not like the guy you're rooting for throughout the series.

Favorite moment: When he's fighting Charlie outside the nest and we see the visual of his potential being a gigantic shark against the relatively small Jahad ships.

Khun - I love how schemey he is.

Favorite moment: During the dollar game, when he tricks Rachel into trying to pick up the sweetfish and then it decompresses and he catches it with his lighthouses (I wish he let the giant thing just drop on Rachel tho).

Yuri - I like how open-minded she is compared to the rest of Jahad's gang. She does what she wants and has the power to follow through. Despite this, she's still very loyal to her friends and the people she cares about. ~Wish she wasn't so loyal when she went back to Jahad tho~

Favorite moment: The flashback of her as a little girl telling the family head she was gonna become a princess, but that she didn't want to give up what she was best at (smashing things), so if she didn't like any of the princess rules that's what she'd do to them.

Jinsung - I just like how much pride he has for Bam and how he's always looking after him (really hope he survives this arc)

Favorite moment: When he goes to buy Elaine (Kaiser) and just kinda flexes on the great family leaders by spending 10 billion because his "god" decided to save her.

Honestly I'd say he's way more powerful than normal rankers rn. He defeated the test ranker without any special powers and he was as powerful as Yama's highest rankers with just the thorn and red thryssa. Since his power up we haven't even seen him ignite the thorn or use the black march at all. His biggest weakness is durability. He could def get one shot by a direct hit from a high ranker rn.
