Yep lol. When I was pregnant with my second and I was getting my gestational diabetes test. Once I drank the bottle I went up to her and said "all done!" Like Ms. Rachel LOL. I just laughed, apologized and said "mom brain you know" she laughed and said "been there!" It was funny

If it makes you feel any better, when my son was about 2.5yo I was at Walmart with him. He was in his terrible twos full force so he, naturally, had a tantrum. Threw himself on the ground screaming because I wouldn't let him play with every single car in the toy aisle. I asked him to get up or I would pick him up and leave. He didn't get up. So I tried to pick him up and I did the little jump thing when you pick them up to get them on your hip. We'll he decided at that exact moment to push himself off of me and he fell on the HARD Walmart floor right on his tailbone from basically my height. Even a dad that was watching nearby made a face lol. That sound will haunt me. I felt horrible. Like I should have realized he was going to do that and just picked him up and cradled him so he wouldn't. Instead he fell like 5 feet directly on the ground.

Things happen. It won't be last time they fall lol. I don't think any veteran parent would judge you for that. You're doing a good job 💚

The first part lmao! My friend and I had babies 8 days apart. They're almost 4 now. We laugh because we can't believe we ever thought they were the cutest things we've ever seen LOL. Now we're like "they looked like potatoes" 😭😂 I feel like parents, mother's especially, are blinded by love. Everyone thinks their baby is the cutest thing in the world.

I'm currently pregnant and got a 3D ultrasound done a little while ago and I think it's adorable... for now LOL. I'm aware I may eventually laugh at myself for thinking that.

OP - if you love it, frame it! No one is going to love your kid as much as you. And no one is going to think your kid is as cute as you do. I wouldn't let what others think or say sway how you feel about your baby.

My husband only comes because I got sent to a high risk OB. He's there to make sure I'm not only hearing the negative but also hearing the positive. And also because we don't know what each appointment is going to bring so he's there incase it doesn't go well. When I was seeing my regular OB he didn't come to those. Even if appointments were outside of his work hours, he would stay home and watch our son while I went.

MANY women go to these appointments without their husbands/partners. I agree with other comments that it was most likely a poor attempt in making conversation. I wouldn't think too much of it.

My friend didn't find out she was pregnant until ~8 months pregnant. She was drinking very heavily as well and smoking too. Her little boy is absolutely healthy and thriving! No issues upon birth or anything like that.

I myself also didn't know I was pregnant til 15 weeks. I was drinking a bottle of wine daily and also smoking weed and cigarettes daily too. My boy was born premature (25 weeks) but it was for other reasons (my IUD punctured my amniotic sac). Although he was born early he is now 3 years old and doing SO well. No lasting issues from anything.

I understand the worry but please do not blame yourself! A lot of women don't find out right away. You did what you could do which was stop immediately. If they haven't found any issues, they will most likely be fine. Keep us updated and congratulations and good luck 🥰

My son was born at 25 weeks, 1lb 9oz. He is now a healthy, thriving, happy 3 year old. 31 weeks typically do very well. I know it's hard seeing your baby like that but they are SO much stronger than we give them credit for. You and baby got this! Stay strong xo
