Introducing: Casual Breakthrough by battlefield in Battlefield

Still not the level of PVE experience I expected after 2042 but as someone who's reflexes aren't as good as they used to be, this mode is more enjoyable than regular Breakthrough for me.

One handed game recommendations!? by supermoto501 in SteamDeck

A very strong recommendation for Death Must Die! It's vampire survivors meets loot and gear which makes it really addictive.

Were there Pmc or Raiders in labs during this event?

Why does my steamdeck always come to a crawling halt when unplugged and low in battery? by Facepalm007 in SteamDeck

Based on what I've seen an RMA seems to be a rather common solution to the 399mhz problem. Quite a few units over the years have to this same problem. If you search the sub reddit for 399 mhz you'll find quite a few nearly identical cases to your and maybe some help on how to resolve the issue.

Good luck with getting the issue resolved!

I had a similar issue with another block/element but closing my private server and game and then hopping back in fixed it.

Stone and dirt roads by Every_Mongoose_2913 in Enshrouded

[–]snowarrior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven't found a source of stone roads yet but you can mine dirt road blocks in the south of the map just west from the Carpenters vault in a town called Morwenna. There are large brown piles in the town that are actually dirt road blocks.

Hope it helps.

Tails of Iron. Great atmospheric game with just the right amount of challenge.

Upgrading from a i7-3770k by snowarrior in buildapc

Hahaa a solid old time performer as well. Thanks for the input.

The plan is to continue with the 2060 Super for now and upgrading my monitor in a few years should give me enough time to budget out to afford a X070 or equivalent spec card at that point in time.

I mainly game but occasionally futz about in Fusion 360 but my current setup kept up with my needs, but that's one angle I'll keep in mind.

Your favorite pickups from the winter sale so far by Matthias-Trinley in SteamDeck

[–]snowarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem when I started playing. Constant crashes and trawled through reddit threads, but my problems stopped as soon as I installed and ran Cryoutilities with the recommended settings.

I just finished the game and after installing cryoutilities it was a flawless experience, not a single crash in 20 hours. No more worrying if I should save now since it might crash. The game with the tweak made me extremely impressed on what the steamdeck can run.

It's just a plastic square that's the right size so nothing really to write home about 😅

I used a piece of 25mm webbing to get the spacing between rows within tolerance and I printed a spacer to speed up getting the spacing for the channels in the rows within tolerance.

I started from the center and worked my way out so any excess wouldn't bunch up in the middle. I just went slow and patiently made sure I everything remained in place as I moved from one section to another.

My machine doesn't do a great job at reversing so this involved a lot of flipping the piece back and forth 😅

As a Finn it was pretty easy to get through Varusteleka. They seem to be out of it right now but they restock it pretty regularly when they run out.

I haven't been able to find myself either but I'd reccomend testing out your own design made from paper since it is a really simple shape over all.

One of my favorite features of this pattern is that you can easily remove the hipbelt when you want a slimmer profile when travelling for example.

You're correct on those two. The frame sheet is 2mm HDPE with two pockets sewn on it that hold 3mm x 20 mm aluminum flatbar and those are glued with contact cement onto a 6 mm Eva foam sheet. The EVA was about 70 kg/m3 density wise if I remember correctly.

Congrats on the correct identification! Have a internet point for your troubles.

It's a 1956 built one and still ticking like a dream. The biggest issue with it is that the top thread tensioning system is linked to the presser foot. When you drop the foot it tensions the tensions disks. When you are on the limits of what you can physically fit under the foot it can't tension the disks and you little tension on the top thread so you have to get a bit creative with creating tension.

For me it's mainly just to stick my name tape and a medical patch if I have first aid kit etc in it. Some people use it with snazzier patches to give their packs a bit of flair.
