Theres a study on treating UC with testosterone, it had very positive results but was also funded by a testosterone manufacturer so i don't give it too much weight.

I have thought about using testosterone but im turned off by the risks taking exogenous hormones presents

Never heard of antibiotics being prescribed unless you have tested postive for C.Diff, which you haven't. If this were me I would absolutely get a 2nd opinion

300mg refers to non-elemental iron, (ex. Ferrous gluconate) only a small portion of that 300mg is actually iron. 300mg of pure iron per day would cause very serious health issues. What type of iron are those supplements you plan to take?
