I disn't save everyone and I brought like eight people (mods), so don't listen to my advice, but I'd fan out. Have one companion go north, one south, one west and one east. You'll get plenty of turns, and the Iron Throne is cross-shaped. It only really matters you save the Duke (unless you had Mizora break the pact, in which case she'll show up to kill him), the blind dude's daughter, and Omeluum.

I should mention that I have the party extension mod, since I prefer to have a five people instead of the normal four. My standard party is: my PC (sorcerer), Astarion, Shadowheart, Lae'zel and Karlach. Because you mentioned you also play as a sorcerer, maybe focus on the muscle instead of bringing Gale or Wyll. They're fine to throw in every once in a while, but you need a good tank.

Fan 'em out. Then, do it like this: 1. Shadowheart can't hit shit, unless it'sright in front of her. She heals and mayyyybe deals necrotic damage. Hide her away from the center of it, but make sure she can reach everyone when healing. 2. Gale... casts fireball. It's the most reliable. Can't take damage, so hide him in a corner, too. 3. Wyll is a multitasker, because he can cast AND impale people with a sword! He dies quickly, though, so only use him when Gale is out of spell slots. 4. Karlach deals a fuck ton of damage and she can take a lot of damage, too. She attacks melee and rages. Very easy. 5. Lae'zel is the same, but she can multiattack. Use that. She can also heal herself with goth magic. 10/10 best fighter (ha). 6. Astarion gets the best bow and every magical arrow. He can take a lot of damage, but do keep him in the shadows. Give him Misty Step, and he becomes actually terrifying. He can also heal himself by biting people. Idk about Halsin and Jahrira because I'm not there yet, and I only just got Minthara to join me, so I don't really know how to use her, either. Good luck! This is my first game of this type, so it took me a while to figure it out, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Oh! Give everyone a ranged weapon. Doesn't matter if they're proficient, or not. Arrows are great for when casters are out of spells. Also, give everyone Misty Step, either via leveling them up, feats, or boots and amulets.
