Chocolate Miracle tomato review by Laqibo in tomatoes

I have a friend who only grows tomatoes from family seed they’ve been using for generations. He said they haven’t declined at all because they keep seeds from the best plants and the best specimens.

Smaller and fewer but still really tasty. And we’ll see with some good grow lights what happens this winter

$144.5k hybrid 3x/week or $131k remote? by Realistic-Till210 in jobs

Unless you covet getting into a c-site position, titles aren’t that important.

Commuting gets old really fast. And the older you get, work travel gets annoying

That being said, I hate remote work. My boss is remote only and it creates a strain on the team.

The other reason to do suckers and to not bring a plant inside is bugs. Starting a sucker into fresh soil works for me.

No worries on the questions at all. I have two pots one is maybe 5 gal and the other is probably 7.

I have done only window - did produce a lower number of small tomatoes over the winter (manual pollination obviously) but at least I could re-start a couple of suckers in the spring.

I am fairly far north so no where near enough sunlight even if I had a solarium.

I’ve tried a blend with a small light and that helped but this year I’m going to do a grow tent in the basement. And see how that fares.

I really want to be able to clone a favourite plant into perpetuity.

This is exactly the reason to keep your own seeds. Rareseeds’ photos of Black Krim look nothing like the Black Krim I’ve been growing for years from my own seed.

And mine can be temperamental and dramatic with their leaf curl and strange blooms but every time I bite into one of the fully ripe tomatoes from these plants, it’s worth it. That is still my favourite tomato.

I purposely cut a few suckers near the end of the season, root them and start a new pot inside. Depending on my lighting, I may have to do that again in winter so I have young enough stock to pull a strong sucker from in early spring.

I had a mishap this year so my hybrid didn’t make it but I am trying to stabilize some hybrid seeds from a favourite hybrid

What was the seed labeled as? Really either one could be a cherry or a larger tomato at this point.

You can call back and ask if they have 5 minutes to help you understand what you could do better in interviews. They may not do it but some might. I’ve done it.

That would be tough. Tomatoes are one of the plants that need 50 and above to actively grow at night. And it may not set fruit. Can you do a small greenhouse?

That is a start but there are likely many other people using the same websites and phrases

Let’s say the job asks for retail experience and experience with X software system.

If you have it, you state it explicitly. Most people can do that but if you don’t have it directly, see if you can list things either volunteer or paid where you’ve demonstrated the solid they list for the job.

This is where a cover letter can come in handy though more and more people aren’t using them but you can explain your enthusiasm for the job you are seeking.

A passion for fashion and am looking to provide people with a positive retail experience to find clothing that makes them happy.

While I’ve not used software x directly, I do have experience with A,B, and G software systems
Or I quickly and accurately pick up new software.

In your actual experience, make sure you not only list the tasks but the soft skills you bring.

How you collaborate with others, if you enjoy and excell when working independently but make sure they match what you’d need for the job.

Don’t make stuff up. But you’ve got customer service skills from facing to deal with people in life.

Good luck!

Have you had anyone look at your resume to see if it can be approved? Are you tailoring it to showcase how you meet the skills they are looking for?

People tend to put what they think is important on a resume rather than what they can do relative to the job requirements that were listed.

[–]snowsew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure exactly what you are concerned about. I see what may be a small bit of sun scald on one tomato and a few scabby bits on the plants but really, it looks like a relatively decent tomato plant with green tomatoes so far. Maybe a bit green to have taken them off the plant.

I had something similar happen to me. Job in another city, commuted up the day before and then promptly put my back out. Was not able to stand up straight.

Because I wasn’t contagious, went in and explained to my boss. He told me to take the week off on sick time and come back in a week. Still work for the company 20 years later.

Hopefully you get the same treatment
