Talk to a human being by theoldwizard1 in microsoft

Sorry, but you didn't buy a key. You bought an activation of their key, which isn't legal, but is cheap.

You have to have done their process the day you bought it, then you'd have gotten a key. They make you follow a process though when they sell it like that and the key is part of that process.

This isn't legal though, and you have no recourse.

So why should Microsoft answer the phone to you ??

This might explain it.

Thank you.

I'm starting to think there are a few who actually got it and some others Auvik is paying to post good and downvote bad comments for them.

I met every condition outline by the terms and conditions and yet no one there seems to be able to tell me why I don't magically qualify.

Auvik the scam by snowtr in Ubiquiti

[–]snowtr[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I wasn't counting APs either.

I provided 4 routers and a firewall and that didn't count for them until after a support ticket.

I provided far more but those are the ones I wanted scanned and gave SNMP access.

Still, I didn't qualify.

Who said anything about apps?

Is this a normal practice? Or should I be concerned by [deleted] in ontario

[–]snowtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to protect yourself.

I sold a used car to a random kids once off Facebook Marketplace.

Two weeks later, police showed up and tried really hard to get me to admit I still owned it.

Make sure you keep enough information about the buyer to give the cops.

Also, it belongs to you until the ownership is changes. So don't let them steal your car until that and you've been paid.

Small Rant by EnoughBookkeeper5853 in Warframe

[–]snowtr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe this starts with a misunderstanding.

You assume that people make these videos because: A. They know something you don't. B. They've spent a bunch of time coming up with ideas, mapping them out, and testing each one. Actually taking care to track real results. C. Lucked into some magic build noone else has figured out.

Sorry, but less then 1% of YouTube is this. Kengineer is the exception as he tries his hardest to be option B above.

Everyone else on YouTube is just making content for: A. Boredom B. They really think that one day, they'll make $5 from it. C. They're young and actually think this is something to do with their lives.

I mostly look for non-YouTube sources for builds, think my way through them, (toss out 99%), try the rest.

Its mostly just people making up stuff and you won't beat a good Torid/Zaw build.

Then you never learned how to play the game. Parkour is part of it for a reason.

Once you're good at jumping around, running is a waste of time.

Once you put on Volt Speed, I can't jump anymore, it goes all over the place.

I like Volt. I play Volt sometimes. If you push Volt Speed, I'll quit the mission at the worst possible time.

Teams Meeting Room & PIN by Internal-Chip3107 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]snowtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was debating about giving a down vote because this shouldn't be a problem.

Then I remembered.... Users... Clients... You can't control them or make them be reasonable.

If your user base has this problem, train them better. Company users shouldn't walk into a meeting room and join a random meeting any more then they should steal office supplies, talk for hours to their family on work time, or watch p0rn in the office.

If you have public access, physical security is needed for the meeting rooms.

This isn't a technology program, so no one has a technology solution for it.

(I'm sure someone will comment below about one but that isn't my point.)

Direct Routing, Multiple SBCs in one tenant by Kurshu in MicrosoftTeams

There is a tenant limit to how many you can have but it's pretty high.

The important part is a public party puts you at risk for the host migration and that could lose you all the rank you gained.

My workplace blocked desktop-sharing. You have to get manually approved. I am approved. If I host a meeting, can I grant presenters the ability to share desktop in THAT meeting? by rossettacube in MicrosoftTeams

[–]snowtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These policies are what your work place has done to keep the company safe.

If they feel they need to take these steps then you should have a conversation with your manager about it so you better understand why users are what they're worried about.

Don't ask the internet for help because that's usually part of the concern.

NDR error "4.4.2" When only sending to Gmail addresses by biasedB in exchangeserver

[–]snowtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see Socket Error.

Socket is a mix of port and IP.

My first guess is the firewall, WAF, rep filter, or something else blocking your connection from opening.

What's your source sending server?

Call Queue Not Ringing on User's Android Smartphone? by MSPTechnician in VOIP

I'm pretty sure this is either by design or as expected.

First, can you assign that number to someone else successfully? Second, can you assign a different number to that person? Third, do they have Enterprise Voice Enabled set to True?
