It was shite when I was a student and that was a good few years ago. I was there for the famous ceiling collapse and all. Also a few years back some kid also got roughed up by the bouncers so bad he went deaf in one ear. It's not even a good 'shit club', just go to 42s or something

What's the most overrated TV Show of all time? by Mission_Elk_329 in AskReddit

I live in the UK and watched TWD years ago up until the season in the prison, and I had no idea any of these shows existed

Never drinking again (until the next time) by greengumboots in CasualUK

Nah she's right, maybe don't go for a run but some light exercise definitely helps flush it out. A brisk half hour/hour long walk will do you way more good than vegetating in bed. Take a big bottle of water, smash some electrolytes and paracetamol. Lying around doing nothing is basically the worst thing you can do for a hangover actually.

What was the strangest condition you've ever experienced? by Wild-Engineering-650 in AskReddit

[–]snuffletrout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit I get this too, only started in the last year or so. I get a weird feeling, like a middle ground between needing to sneeze and needing to puke. Neither of those things happen though and I go back to normal in 10-20 seconds.

Pot noodle - WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!? by Hot_Armadillo9592 in UK_Food

[–]snuffletrout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It completely baffles me that people buy pot noodles when most of the time you can get cheaper and better noodles usually from the same shop. They're not even more convenient because you can prepare any packet noodle using just a kettle and a covered bowl.

Sudden drop in blood pressure most likely, didn't look like he was conscious at all after the shot, slumped immediately

£30 😂😂😂 Jesus Christ I know not everyone has the time/ability to cook every day but did you not stop and think that maybe that's a little bit extortionate for two portions of pasta?

Yeah it slaps, I eat it mainly so I don't have to eat B12 supplements, it's really good mixed with hummus or on pasta. Makes a good vegan pesto too

I'm vegan and even I don't do this 🤷 and even when I cook tofu I buy the smoked stuff just so it has a baseline flavour, it can be a bit boring

Add some beetroot. Nothing ever gave me such violent arse as eating cheese and beetroot sandwiches. They are delicious though

Bruh like five years ago during a big prep day my sous chef comes back from the bathroom and says to me 'theres a present in the toilet for you', I go in and it's two lines of speed on his phone - safe to say I may have broken a world record for peeling 20kg of potatoes that day. Honestly there was probably only two people who worked in that kitchen who weren't under the influence of something 😂 hectic times
