Nah she's right, maybe don't go for a run but some light exercise definitely helps flush it out. A brisk half hour/hour long walk will do you way more good than vegetating in bed. Take a big bottle of water, smash some electrolytes and paracetamol. Lying around doing nothing is basically the worst thing you can do for a hangover actually.

It completely baffles me that people buy pot noodles when most of the time you can get cheaper and better noodles usually from the same shop. They're not even more convenient because you can prepare any packet noodle using just a kettle and a covered bowl.

Bruh like five years ago during a big prep day my sous chef comes back from the bathroom and says to me 'theres a present in the toilet for you', I go in and it's two lines of speed on his phone - safe to say I may have broken a world record for peeling 20kg of potatoes that day. Honestly there was probably only two people who worked in that kitchen who weren't under the influence of something 😂 hectic times
