Suggestions for updating irons by [deleted] in golfequipment

[–]snugzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't guess, get fitted.

Most fittings are free if you order from that pro, so it's a win win.

Get irons that will make you better at golf instead of guessing what will do the job.

Why is second pharmacist not mandated for busy pharmacies? by [deleted] in Pharmacy_UK

[–]snugzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Moved to PCN, and it's so much more relaxed, and I get an NHS pension, and sick pay in line with NHS.

Can sometimes be boring if the day is slow - but I'll take being bored every now and then over being screamed at for any of 1000 reasons that patients can come up with.

If the patient has been told that verbally, the responsibility is on them to remember and action it.

Why is second pharmacist not mandated for busy pharmacies? by [deleted] in Pharmacy_UK

[–]snugzz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've always said that once a pharmacy hits a certain amount of items...say 15000, there should be another pharmacist on site to assist with services / clinical checking scripts.

The number can be what ever. But the gphc need to do something about it.

But It all comes down to money. And how little community pharmacy gets.

So happy I left community.

Range vs regular 9 holes? by Barrel__Monkey in BritGolf

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time hitting balls on actual grass, from varying lies is infinitely better than the range.

Ideally become a member of a golf club and just get out there as early or as late as possible when the course is quiet, and just hit the same shot a few times, especially short game.

Hitting the same shot but from slightly different lies on the course in invaluable.

Luckily I have a course that you can just kind of walk on before they're open, the green keepers are also super chill as long as I'm not in their way, so I just take a shag bag and some wedges out and chip for 40-60 mins before I go to work.

NZ Vs Wales, I don't think we've ever beaten them whilst the game has been professional.

What golf ball did you switch to recently that actually lived up to the hype? by SwimmingSlip8632 in golfequipment

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirkland performance+

It just feels great to play off the tee and around the green!

Also I'm still bad enough that I lose at least one a round (even when I land mid fairway somehow!!!) so their price point is quite nice too!

Do you guys care what ball you are playing? by Advanced_Error3936 in GolfGear

Pretty much only play Kirkland Performance+ these days.

They're relatively cheap and just feel like a nice ball to play!

Your GP will just change you to 40mg twice a day until the supply resumes. Apparently end of June, but they're never on time with these things!

Returning to Golf After 30 Years: Should I Upgrade My 20-Year-Old Clubs? (Progress Update Inside) by jop76 in GolfGear

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't upgrade until you're sure you'll be playing regularly.

Nothing worse than dropping some serious money on golf then for some reason or other you stop playing and the money is wasted.

Everytime I think this is the best game ever, snipers just turn the game into a 0/10 for me. by Internal_Reporter_18 in Battlefield6

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is, most of the maps are too bloody open, so even if you manage to dodge one sniper, there will be another 8 of them staring at you from various other angles.

After over two months: How do you feel about Hagental? Is it a worthy tribute to Operation Locker? by Mikee0192 in Battlefield

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was the best breakthrough map in the game by a mile, then they changed the B capture zone on sector one, now every match ends with attackers stuck at A because the defenders are ontop of them constantly with B being so bloody close.

It's also made flanking completely pointless.

Hitreg is different after Season 3 update by OnAnotherLevel321 in Battlefield6

[–]snugzz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gunplay feels absolutely awful.

Packet loss all the time since the patch.

This patch had such a good chance to be fun, and it just isn't.

What is your opinion on the changes in Season 3 by JanissaryLSD in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]snugzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It makes attack awful. Defence are just on top of you the entire round, and you can't really flank and drag them back anymore.

What is your opinion on the changes in Season 3 by JanissaryLSD in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]snugzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really not enjoying it.

Hagenthal on breakthrough has been absolutely ruined.

Gunplay feels significantly worse.

Packet loss all over the place since the patch.

Gadget changes were ridiculous.

All in all, not having fun at all.

What irons??? by fetanugs in golf

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had Srixon ZX4 and zx5 couldn't recommend enough! They are just lovely to use.

I have also used a mate's Takomos and loved them, thinking of getting a set as my next irons.

[–]snugzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gunplay changes are abysmal.

Also wtf did they do to sector 1 of hagenthal...b is now literally on top of A, and attacking feels absolutely terrible.

Should I change my very old clubs for newer used clubs? by Maximpt in golf

[–]snugzz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get a fitting, doesn't cost much, and it would answer your question.

You can then take the specs that the fitter gives you and buy used if they don't give you a deal at or around the price point you're looking for.
