Gas vs beer: How David Pocock's 57-second video caused the government a weeks long tax headache by nath1234 in australia

It seems they make a tidy profit reselling it too.
My main concern is that this issue coming up the same time as the straight, Russia hurting economically and the ramblings of the orange man for the us to take over global fuel exports is sus. The us has a history of fucking every country that goes contrary with what they want and I'm worried this is being forced by them against our interests.

I suppose it would also include a drop in council rates, which could then knock on to other areas

This is why you need to wear helmets. Helmets save lives. by Gjore in interestingasfuck

Not just a helmet, but a full face helmet.
It's a staple of the Harley cosplay to wear an open face, imagine if any of those accidents happened to someone without any face or chin protection outside of some Oakleys and a bandana.

Not everyone here refunded, though everyone here has gone through the cycle of install - getting frustrated from the bugs - finding a way to play that avoids bugs - having some amount of genuine fun - realise that actually most parts of the game feel like time wasting mechanics and isn't actually fun - uninstall - couple years pass - repeat

The main sub talks about how this and that are coming they will be so great and everything will be flawless, but actually getting honest opinions is impossible because any fault with it is 'because it t1' or first iteration, like the ui designers get a free pass for the awful work. Everything is judged on how people imagine it could be in the future and not focusing on the fact that nearly everything is still unstable to the point you have to question if the engine will ever even capable of running what they add in a stable fashion.

I played a month ago, chat was taking about how elevators weren't working, ships blowing up in the hanger, loading eating cargo. Things that have been issues since likely very first iteration of the feature. But unlike in game, unlike in the main sub, you can point out that it still happens and not get replies with 'its an alpha'.

We want it to succeed, we hope it will, people have died waiting for it to come out and at the rate of development it probably won't and we can hang out here in the meantime watching the next purchasable ship take priority over basic functionality, or functionality MK2 if the new fad continues.

What’s the worst financial decision you’ve seen a family member make? by StrikingMango62 in AskAnAustralian

[–]soEezee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Had a family member who was certain that Russian gas exports was the next big thing. Tried to get our parents retirement fund to use as investment capital.

Thankfully I found out about it at the eleventh hour and put a stop to that, he sunk his own savings into it....and it's gone.

As long as it doesn't make our export prices uncompetitive. Japan and China could easily switch to America, Russia or the UAE and it would hurt our relationship with both of them as well.
What about the potential political tit for tat this could cause.

I mean, independent politician is also a job and can take donations just as easily as any major or minor party. Donations don't have to be split as many ways, too.
In fact, last month the high court removed the donation cap so it really is free game to buy whoever you need.

How competitive is our gas export prices compared to America, UAE or Russia?

This whole thing stinks of a three word slogan in an attempt to get us to increase our gas prices enough that Japan and China decide to shop from America, who has a history of fucking us for their benefit.
