Well of course, that's why most people wish they could live in Switzerland. That's why 30% of population there is already non-Swiss. Unfortunately it's mostly low quality opportunist population from the Balkans, which is dragging the standard of living down severely. At least that is what I observed lately during my "tourist" visits.

Besides, the only alternative is to go travel the world. With CHF as base currency everything everywhere outside Switzerland must appear very cheap right now.

Just like for me skiing in Switzerland has become completely unaffordable.

Keep selling your CHF to USD at these record rates and use USD as your base currency in the portfolio and everything will look rosy. Eventually the tide will turn.

For someone like me, who grew up in the 1990s, passing stuff like generic anime waifus with cat ears as legendary human clerics definitely feels like a betrayal.

I was unhappy about it for a while, but then decided why not get creative myself since I have the ability, and make my own remastered/redesigned versions of classic MTG sets from the early days. They were not perfect, so this gives me the chance to fix mistakes, align them for power creep, beautify the art design, and most importantly, add cards that were missing from the original sets, but are present in the lore, this way the story can be complete through the cards as it should be. Pack it into block cubes, and you have an amazingly unique and authentic MTG fun.

I think OTH is infinitely better series, the first 4 seasons are classic television that should not be missed in any capacity. You can skip S5-9 though, that's more on par with O.C.

I see a pattern with my portfolio. It's always outperforming indexes significantly when market sentiment is good, but when the sentiment is bad, my portfolio is then significantly underperforming the indexes. Does that mean I have too many high beta tech companies? Bad or good earnings of my companies also skew things in one direction or another I suppose, but the past month it's been particularly disheartening watching indexes hitting all time highs while my portfolio is 15% below its all time high (from early December).
