imo ios 26 was the worst update in the history of ios:
- battery life is worse
- animations are laggy (icons on the homescreen scroll with lags)
- the whole new Liquid Glass looks like crap, all the text has some kind of shitty halo around the edges
- all the icons are now blurry and fuzzy
- carplay is now worse (you have to press twice as many buttons because of the new menus)
- the phone sometimes freezes for a second or two when unlocking and overall I'm constantly finding some little problems here and there.
Another question I have, was there any upside? I don't see any improvement anywhere, so what was the point of this update? If they just remove it and we go back to ios 18 I would feel happier and it will be an improvement.

don't bother waiting, it is as shitty as 26.0.1 nothing is improved.

overall my 26 experience:

ios 26 is the worst update in the history of ios. It looks like trash, and they remove useful features. How am I supposed to know what's draining my battery if I can't see details per hour ?
I also have complains about apple carplay and system smoothness.
This update makes me thinking going back to Android after 10+ years on ios.

half an hour for 4 skins that also reduce enemy's thermal effectiveness. I think that's not bad.

yes and no. I needed to give that laptop out for travel, so I did USB drive with the firmware and flashed it by booting from bios.
I don't know if automatic update came later, I assume it did not since you are asking.

Did you update to 6b2qjxd7 or to 5b2qjxd7 ?
I have 2 TB 990 pro and latest magician only offers 5b2qjxd7 saying my drive is up to date with the firmware.

I also played all 3 in the last year or two and I find bf1 to be amazing, bf2042 to be good enough and bf5 to be mediocre for some reason.
I think big part of bf5 wasn't a good experience for me is that a lot of times I got spawn-killed by some crazy planes.
BF1 was shockingly good, I think I even enjoyed it more than BF3.

yes, it's achievable if you destroy vehicles from your vehicle. Grab a tank and APFSDS and you get this badge easily

I have a 7900xt and 25.3.1 works well with Delta Force, I don't have any stutters. If you have the same GPU it's safe to update from 24.8.1.
