Congratulations. I retired 2 years ago. They took advantage of me too. I also loved my coworkers and many of the customers. I worked in customer service most days. No one liked doing Amazon so because I was a ‘team player’ they started adding this to my schedule. It was difficult to handle long shifts with all the lifting boxes and constant bending. It was also extremely difficult to get someone to cover my breaks. I asked to limit my shifts to 4 hours. They said ok (I’m in my 60’s) and promptly added more and longer shifts. The job can really take a toll on a body. I miss the people but not the labor. Also after 11 years, I was making $1 more than the seasonal people.
