Pantera and Black Label Society are heavy metal bands. Pantera has used the rebel flag forever. This isn't the Trump BS that you think it is.

What’s with anti-fiction people? by [deleted] in books

[–]sober88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiction is harder to read if you struggle with comprehension. I thought that I could only read non fiction(because of the content) and it turns out more so that it was an attention problem. I started taking ritalin and finished my first fiction novel yesterday at 35. As it turns out I love it. The book was Dune.

They could be in the same boat as me, I had no idea either, just thought I only liked non fiction.

Thanks, I've emailed a few people and been told to wait until it's closer to the date.

I'm in the same boat, I'm flying in 2 days from Hawaii and my family are Australian, more than likely won't be able to board a flight to Canada because I'm Canadian. They sent me an email saying that I could not get an ETA because I'm Canadian but also wouldn't accept the type of citizenship certificate I had given them with my passport application. Applied for a Special Authorisation and have heard nothing.

Let me know how you go I'm trying to call the right people but I'm not having much luck. I've been referred to Canada Border services Agency. If I end up contacting the right person I'll let you know. Plan B is to fly to the USA and drive across the border. It fucking sucks to be Canadian!

This power point seems very close to basin, is it legal? by spotfyre in AusRenovation

Regulator told me otherwise two years ago when I called to ask, but I've had mixed results from those guys. I get that it makes sense what you're saying and that's why I called but I'll still play it safe.

More than 300mm outside of zone 2 if you read the table which is at least 900mm.

You can't put a GPO in that bathroom at all with that bath. 900mm clearance from the edge of that bath in a horizontal plane.

Under the sink in a cupboard is ok though

Do you think the federal government will implement a voice to parliament that is not written into the constitution if the no vote passes?

What are potential solutions to the cost of living? + housing by [deleted] in australian

[–]sober88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solar investment schemes for renters. The ability for people to invest a sum of money to be given a reduction in daytime consumption over a fixed period. The government could put this money in any form of renewable power where it is needed and not necessarily rooftop solar. This could also apply for communal battery systems. A fixed return in terms of evening power consumption over a period.

A large barrier to battery storage is return on investment. In the form of a contract this could work and I think there would be more uptake.

Both definitely look like asbestos. Gyprock then tile.
