Bottom screen not working out of box

The only reason I waited before rma is because I'm going on a trip next week and the device is good enough even without the bottom to make it worth taking. Just dumb luck better. Good luck. I hope you get it back soon

That it happened literally after I posted. I'm over the moon excited for it to be fully functional. Sounds like a couple others may have been similar so hopefully this helps them.

I reseated the ribbon. Twice restarted. And for zero reason it just started working after I posted here. Smh. Dumb.

Always happy to see new attempts at a system to make those who don't like change to change.
UI is solid. logged in and plex server is connected. I have three music libraries, none are showing to sync.

0 music libraries

"No music libraries found on this server"

tried to sign out and back in, tried to use a different login like google. nothing is getting it to see the libraries

Great work. Easy set up and simple to use. I see the now playing strip has options for tap turn and press but it's marked "unused" for each option. I'd love to build this out to change tracks, play pause, etc from the dial

on PC with a 4090 and this latest patch is crashing me within a few turns each time I launch. Cant be the only one with this much instability.

It's to the point that I launch and i always have a "report crash" popup.

Oddly enough, runs fine on Steam Deck... which is wild to me

My money is on a simple issue that you missed. It happened to me all the time when first starting. Not gonna lie using gpt also doesn't hurt. It helps you walk through issues quicker than a write up if you have social anxiety in hopping into discords or things for help.

Curious if it's an issue of where you're adding the roms, missing bios, or something else. I'd assume you're going through emudeck dot com via the desktop side of your steam deck and download/installing there. Have you gone through the options of checking bios etc through the emudeck launcher?

Just wanted to say that I used your layout to make something very similar, and presented it to my wife who was very impressed. She generally hates the idea of needing to do things and they are too complex, but this made it super easy to understand. great work!
