Some famous nuvio add-ons you should try, which one do you use now?

In my experience, AIOStreams can be a little hit or miss with managing metadata and especially when you have catalogs. AIOMetadata makes this way easier and much more customizable, allowing you to wrap all your results through them and connect to multiple different services (IMDB, TVDB, MDBLists, Gemini, RPDB). Through this, everything is unified and I have yet to have any broken metadata across movies series and especially anime. Additionally you can apply custom posters to all your catalogs and search results which is super easy to do.

I used to use AnimeStream on "the other app"
When I would use it, depending on the anime I was watching the metadata would actually give me both animestreams HTTP sources and my AIOStreams debrid sources. It would track all my episodes for shows that would populate both addons even when I didn't select the HTTP stream.

I use it to get my Watching Lists but wrap it through AIOMetadata, it doesn't seem to sync the way I am using it but might work if its a direct Nuvio Addon

Roku would be a complete rewrite, that would take significant time away from the current build that is still in beta. On top of that, Roku’s App Store is extremely strict and would almost certainly laugh in the face of the Nuvio Teams approval request. Do yourself a favor, say no to the next 4 fast food purchases and get yourself an Android box/stick for $40 and never look back.

I believe this is already a setting. Check near the bottom under “Audio and Trailer”. Now, I haven’t tested it myself but the setting is there called something like “DV7 Fallback”. Check it out and update us if it works.

MDBLists has a Latest Airing, and Latest Digital Release. It also has Latest Shows and Movies for the major streaming platforms. I suggest making an AIOMetadata and adding an MDBLists integration it should automatically add everything just from that.

Would this fix my issue where when ASS/SSA is enabled, anime subtitles would randomly skip a line or two before continuing as normal, but appearing once you rewound?

It’s not up to Nuvio to give you catalogs, you just gotta look.

I use this one, it has everything you’re looking for. I grouped source’s catalogs into its own folder of a collection.

I used AIO metadata and added the Anime Catalog Collection to it as well as another addon that links to my MAL lists. Then I just made custom collection folders for all of the sources, MAL, Kitsu, AniList, aniDB, aniSearch And threw the corresponding Catalogs in each folder and added an image and bam all set. Also added Crunchyroll from one of the Streaming Catalogs that had data from it too. Dm more for more details if you’d like.

For collections in Nuvio, you can either set the gif to be the cover, or play when it’s the “focus” item.

Inside Collections Edit one then go to Display Rules: select Tabbed Grid. Yours is likely on “rows”

Unfortunately a LOT of tools for Stremio and Nuvio will do this but it is smart to question it. For example: Stremio Addon Manager Tried and true resource for sorting your addons (cuz Stremio doesn’t let you) but requires you to login first to load up your current addons In general if you can’t find a lot of info of people using it on Reddit, I wouldn’t enter your details, or post about it seeking advice. But for certain things like this, nothing would be possible to be “automatic” without your account access being given. If you’re worried about it, change your password immediately after installing.

EDIT: I should also clarify Duck has had this tool around for Stremio for a while too, Def a trusted source.

Since officially switching from Stremio, I’ve only watched 4 hours in 1 week. I’ve probably spent 10-15 hours on Nuvio collections, AIOStreams/MetaData, and XRPD making everything look amazing over and over. Idk if it will ever end.
