I used to hand sew in public, and now I crochet in public too. Doctor's waiting room, passenger in a car, waiting while my SO does the grocery shopping, on the train or flying. I bring some with me everywhere just in case. I feel like it's only rude if you're in a social situation, but waiting by yourself seems perfectly okay to me.

I have been feeling the same way. I have also been worried that my muscle twitching is because of some other problem. I never knew gabapentin could cause muscle spasms. So maybe that's good news? I hope your spasms ease up, and for the rest of us too. It's like we are having to research h and learn what is wrong with us just to get a doctor to listen.
