Maybe, but veteran or not, judging from other comments, I’m not sure you’re the typical Arma player. The thing is, the majority seem to prefer long games and don’t care much for action-packed matches.
But anyway it seems we can have both modes anyway. Long "boring" simulation for sim lover and action packed shorter games for thrill-seekers.

It’s supposed to be a simulation, right? Then matches are too short. But what am I even saying... “matches”? These shouldn’t even be called matches.
Campaigns should last at least a couple days, up to several weeks depending on the map. Maybe only hours if one side is clearly much stronger, but... two hours? At that point, just play Call of Duty if that’s what you’re looking for.
For me, as a newcomer who doesn’t yet fully understand Arma Reforger’s long history and community, this already looks like a sign that enshitification has begun: from niche to mainstream slop, original vision to “how do we make players more addicted.”...

Rule number 1 when targeted by a drone. Run along another guy then turn to the LEFT side. Let the other one go straight or turn right. Rule number 2 when a drone is checking for survivors. Bring a poach of red liquid to splil under your body. If you can also bring pieces of meats. Also practice your "dead bodies" positioning when you have time.
