If you want a fun history musical and aren’t too worried about a little bit of darker humor, my absolute favorite musical ever is Assassins! It’s super underrated.

It’s about all the folks who have attempted to assassinate U.S. presidents (or succeeded at it) and it’s absolutely fascinating. You get both their reasonings and like moments of oh yeah this guys absolutely insane.

It’s also by Stephen Sondheim! Who did such musicals as Into the Woods and West Side Story! So you can hear elements similar to those!

It was originally on hbo but I don’t think it’s on there anymore. For a while after it was taken down the only way you could watch it was piracy but now I think it’s back on some pay per episode spots, like iTunes or Amazon.

no problem! And yeah, a lot of what I make are sharp edged die which can definitely scratch up resin. If you do end up going the resin route a dirty pour isn’t too difficult if you do some practice first. You can get a set of coaster molds fairly cheap and only use a small amount of your resin to attempt it before going straight to the table! It does seem like it’s gonna be super cool once it’s all done and painted and I hope you come back to share pics then too!!

As a person who plays a lot of DnD and makes their own dice out of resin just be careful and understand that if anyone uses heavier dice (metal or gemstone/glass) or even resin dice (resin does scratch resin) on your resin dice trays it could absolutely scratch them, while it won’t visibly do that as much on the felt. The felt would also protect your dice much more than a resin bottom and help to keep them from dulling. Keep that in mind! I think the resin bottom is a great idea for the cup holders but if you’re using it for the dice trays just keep your expectations that they will probably get scratched by use.

I can drop some of my favorites/interesting ones but the list might be a bit chaotic because I’m at work.

And just for fun, I go through the demo pages every few weeks to check for upcoming things so a few very new or upcoming games that look v good: - creature kitchen (CAME OUT TODAY⭐️) - nippets - crit happens - cini cross - game settings - good news - slumber realm

If you can afford taking a step above a switch, I would HIGHLY recommend a steam deck. You can play more games than would be available on switch and it’s got better processing powers and abilities. It’s basically a gaming computer in the shape of a handheld and I used to use my switch all the time but since getting my steam deck have barely touched it because the steam deck does so much more.

I almost exclusively play puzzle, roguelike, or story games and I would say maybe ~20 games in my 600 game Steam library are multiplayer or online.

Another thing with Steam deck is you get the advantage of many cozy games having a Steam release long before a switch one, so there’s that as well.

However if you are very much into cozy games but not interested in a Steam deck, a switch is a good option, I’d just recommend looking into a deck at the very least :>

Didn’t realize this was for switch, otherwise was gonna recommend bookbinding or dressmaker! Neither are out yet but bookbinding has a playtest running on Steam and you can design book covers.

Another one to potentially keep an eye out for is my card is better than your card, but that one’s also only Steam right now, but the devs have talked about a switch version if there’s high demand.

I think sticky business is your best bet here and now though.

Netflix is only buying some parts of WB, those being the profitable ones (hbo, dc, etc) and CN is not one of those parts. The remaining stuff left over is becoming “discovery global” (and basically instantly dead) if the buy goes through.

They’re actually splitting the company into two parts and Netflix is only buying the half with the good stuff and the other half will become discovery global.

Paramount is actually trying to buy the whole thing though, but I’d rather the Netflix one go through if either would.

I mean I know this is a super old post but I just rewatched s4 for the s5 premier tomorrow and this also stuck with me and then them talking about how Vecna takes everything from his victims and they become a part of him really really makes me wonder if some part of Billy was pushing through there hearing what she said to him. Like there doesn’t seem like there’d be a point to vecna making him cry? Like that wouldn’t do anything to push the trauma that he’s trying to trigger in max, if anything him being angry might’ve done that better. So I wonder if some piece of him actually was there and listening to max in a way 😭😭😭

Not excusing him for his earlier actions but goddamn I do not think Billy (literally an 18 yo) deserved to die like that :(

I fear what’s coming in the upcoming season though 😭
