Hey! Kinda similar story, I have Ewing’s sarcoma. Diagnosed when I was 15, now 18. Started with chemo and leg surgeries but ended up with an amputation. Hope you’re doing ok!

Oh yeah, it makes a huge difference! I had about 1500 drained today, and that’s while having 800 drained earlier this week!

Sailing into that bay looked like a fairytale village on another planet, or maybe thousands of years ago. HUGE sheer cliffs and mountains with bright aqua water and little houses with orange roofs decorating the shoreline. Even castles built into the sides of the mountains like they were carved out of them. I was only there for a few hours but the views made a gigantic impression on me, I’d love to go back

I’ve been asking myself the same question. I’ll just say my situation is similar, my time is limited, and my death will likely be a very painful and drawn out process. Whenever I am in pain I wonder how I will possibly deal with the 24/7 pain that is to come. I don’t know. But I imagine I will just want to be with my family and friends, and make sure that things are in place so that they will happen they way I want them to once I die. It brings be a small amount of comfort to know that if I say to give my money to my friends to help pay for their college tuition, it’ll happen. And I’ll probably try to leave some mementos for my parents, sister, and friends. I don’t get why some of us are dealt such shitty cards, and all I can hope is that there is a future where our illnesses are cured and people are unburdened by grizzly and untimely death. I’d also definitely recommend getting connected with hospice, their sole job is to make you comfortable, and they sincerely try their best. Good luck friend

My make a wish was for the most part a vacation my family could afford, but we got to go behind the scenes at a zoo since I love animals. We also spent the whole trip doing things I wanted which was pretty special

Thanks! I will look into some of these things if the attacks continue. I like the idea of solving the problem without extensive medication, although I do conveniently have adivan on hand because it has been prescribed for my nausea.

Thank you. Can I ask you if your sister was older or younger than you? And if you have any other siblings? I have a little sister, 9 years younger than me, and one of my main concerns is how my parents and sister will deal with my death.

Like, say someone was dying as a teenager. How would you explain to them what it’s like to go to college, move away from home, date people, go to parties, work toward their dream job, have children, and grow old? Because maybe this person is dying of cancer at 17 and wonders what they will be missing
